@@subneo61honestly i did try both irl once , it did not similar to the video but the easy way describe both is b&w = bright sony = narrow soundstage and a bit dark

This video made me sure of choice. After owning different pairs (from QC45, BOSE700 and others) I’ve made up my mind to go and watch outside the box of sony, bose, apple and maybe b&o which may be popular around people that don’t research that much. Thank you for this. PX7 👌

The XM5 are somehow more powerful and I think the voices are nicer. The B&W sound much clearer, but the lower mids are a bit too quiet.

Sony dont have anything to do against B&W, Sony have the bass soooo higher and unbalanced, B&W have the perfect balance, also B&W have a good space between elements and deep.

@@carlostorresgonzalez4677 WTF? B&W has NOTHING to do with balance. It's extremely boomy and the frequency response is a disaster. Sony isn't good either, but google "B&W PX7 S2 Raw Frequency Response" and take a look. An absolute disaster compared to high quality headphones like Sennheiser HD600 (with neutral EQ). Read the Rtings review, especially the bass and treble are a disaster.

@@peter.m379 You succumb to the misconception that the hardware and a good AMP determine the quality. If the B&W were EQed to the same frequency response as the HD600, they would sound almost exactly the same. You can't blindly tell a $100 headphone from a $2,000 headphone if they have 1:1 the same frequency response. And the frequency response of the B&W is an absolute disaster.

I’ve tried , px7s2 is way more better Xm5 sounds blurry in bass line,loud but blurry And so dose the high note😅 Though Xm5 is better in noise cancellation , I’ve buy px7s2 immediately ❤

@@Finterio you can tell the difference when you turn on the noise canceling button, but if you use B&W ,you can still hear others talking to you

Never heard the Bowers, but I own the momentums and they sound really good esp if you slightly tweek the eq to your liking. The bass is phenomenal too, but the noise cancelling also works great and they work great for calls too

Вау какой тест))) слушаю в своих китайских затычках и прям вау)))) Спустя 10 дней я слушаю в своих новых B&W PX7 S2...и все равно смешно. Надеюсь кто-то поймет.

@@Artem-pf8xt Шумоподавление оставляет желать лучшего.Звук очень хорош.Приложение к наушникам очень бедное- настройка низких и высоких и всё. Сравнивал с sony 5 ,честно сказать ,не берусь сравнивать звук,слишком много влияющих факторов.Уверен звук будет и там и там достаточно хорошим для слушателей с телефона.Я использую Tidal.Раньше использовал Spotify,больше к нему не вернусь) Чисто тактильные ощущения от Сони сразу дали понять мне ,что я не жалею о покупке BW. Есть некий минус у BW при повороте головы на мгновение,частично пропадает шумоподавление.Слышал ,что такая проблема у многих наушниках.Не проверял,нет такой возможности. Покупать или нет ,все равно вам решать)

@@Air2eM Большое спасибо за отзыв! Я тоже сейчас выбираю между Sony и B&W. Мне шумоподавление не так важно, так как в основном я слушаю музыку дома. Но то, что мне действительно важно, - это материалы, комфорт и качество звука. Исходя из этого, скорее всего, я выберу B&W. Ещё раз благодарю за отзыв.)

@@Artem-pf8xt Пусть это будет правильный выбор) Кстати,хочу немного подкорректировать мною сказанное о шумодаве.Я говорил без учёта громкости.Тоесть если слушать чуть до половины,то и шумодав там не нужен)))Весь чистый звук вам в уши. Ещё не забываем BW - метал.Из-за этого весит тяжелее. Sony - пластик.(очень,очень лёгкий).Для меня не приятный на ощупь.

B&W sound brighter, clear and sound like they have more range wich makes them sound more spacial. Sony sounds muddy, that is all.

Right? It's maybe lighter, but the black ones are also a catastrophe because of all the finger prints you see. Good luck cleaning them.
