Jaret is one of the greatest songwriters in history. Sometime people hear the humor and don’t appreciate the deepness. 1. Townes VanZandt. 2. John Prine. 3. Jaret Reddick

I never would have thought of this before but actually, yeah. I could still be pretty content if the only catalogue/discography I could listen to forevermore was BFS. They've got more than enough going on.

Heard this song for the first time today. Really got to me, after my nana passed and my brothers self harming the lyrics 'And we're all just passengers tonight' and 'Take a look around you Look how far you've come Your whole life in front of you You've only just begun' mean a lot to me.

I actually got to sing this with the band Skillet (my favorite band of all time) when they showed up at my church. I was diagnosed with Crohn's Disease the previous year and my whole church chipped in to have them come in case something were to happen to me.

I lost my grandma last year to cancer. She was honestly the only person who could make me laugh, feel okay about things, and not like I was drowning. I haven't let myself feel the loss of her because I don't get to, I have to be the strong person because of a whole bunch of family issues. I heard this song though, everything just fell apart. I can't stop crying every time I listen to it because the last part of it sounds so much like something she'd say. Never thought punk music would be the thing to tear it open, but it is. And I'm so damn grateful.

Everytime shit goes to hell I embrace this song. I find a strong relief in the lyrics because they're full of truth. No bad moment last forever and we eventually find light.

This Song is a great song. Growing up without my mother and my dad in and out of my life, it's really a great song. made my dad cry when he heard it. him and i are closer now that i'm a dad and he's a grandpa. i'll never forget when he told me that he couldn't be a dad to me, but he will be a grandpa to his grandson, and for me not to make the same mistakes he did. i told him i won't, but the obstacles are just a little turbulence. He knew what I was saying

Dude has all this shit to contend with and he's still there when his kid arrives at the airport. Yet my dad can't manage to be waiting in the right place at the right time when I'd fly to see him as a kid?! Not that surprised tbh.
Absolutely mind blowing.. You guys have always gotten me going in any number of ways but this song and video have done something completely new. Touched. Truly, truly touched. Just one more reason why you're my favorite band. Period. Keep rockin.

I saw this on Kerrang! and burst out crying. Im only 13, but i got into BFS when i was 10/11. They got me into this whole music genre. I thank them for that. They are the funniest band out there! They're inspirational. They can make funny shizzle song, but then do heart-touching songs that talk to everyone. Bowling For Soup, i salut you.

This song and When We Die made me come past an episode I had with my classmates, I basically had no friends, everyone hated me and nothing was worth living for, or so I thought. I actually thought about suicide more than once, in the age of 14. Then I bumped about BFS, they learned me that some idiots just try to stop you, and that you don't want to waste your life on hating. I also realizaed that there was actually friends to be made, now 1 year after, I'm happy and well, thanks to music!

Speechless. I have been having a few really bad days and pity parties for myself. My children are my heart and soul, and one has multiple special needs, but there are some days I feel like more of a failure as a mom and a wife. Not everyday, but lately it's been hard. Your song has touched my heart and lifted my spirits. Which I did not expect! (No offense) Thank you. (holding back the tears.)

Love this song SO much. As much as I love the faster stuff, this and Belgium (acoustic version) are the ones that make me want to laugh and cry at once. If I get married I want this as my first dance, as much for the friends still out there searching for that 'connection' as for myself.

Bowling for Soup drops me back to jr. high hahah yet, unlike other music I used to listen at jr,high, BFS still seems so good their songs like '1985' is quiet witty, while sons like this cn be so soothing

Having cancer totally sucks but having this song to relate to and help me through the worst times has really helped. Thankyou.

I've been a BfS fan for soo many years now, When We Die was such a powerful song but doesn't even come close to the impact of this song. This is pure, heartfelt songwriting at it's best, I seriously owe Bowling for Soup for picking me up every single time I get down, bands like this don't get anywhere near the recognition they deserve.

BFS songs have always been about storytelling. From a message to a bitchy old girlfriend, or a platonic love for a badass girl, to a deep message such as "When we die", or something to cheer us up like "Much more beautiful person". I guess that in a way Turbulence lets us know that no matter how complicated life can get, how much we regret something we've done, we will get through it. And we won't do it alone. And if all you end up with is a song, you'll do just fine if you're stuck with BFS :)
