Except the fact that it was pretty much confirmed they weren't his sons. If you mean the animated series, however, i can get into an agreement with ya'.

@Archant People are just salty because the original SMB3 and SMW game manuals explicitly stated that the Koopalings were Bowser’s children. I don’t know if that was the case in Japanese, but it *was* the case in the English version. The animated cartoons for SMB3 and SMW may not be canon, but they also spread the word that the Koopalings were Bowser’s kids. That’s why when Jr. first showed up in Sunshine, it confused people, especially when the Koopalings stopped appearing for several years until NSMBWii, where they coexisted alongside Bowser Jr. for several games afterwards. But even then, it was up in the air as to whether Bowser had eight kids or just one, until an interview some years afterwards finally said the Koopalings weren’t Bowser’s children. Thanks to what I said earlier, people are sad because it just feels like an unnecessary retcon, because older Mario players (at least in the west; again, not sure if Japan said the Koopalings were Bowser’s kids in the past) were told much earlier in their lives that the Koopalings were Bowser’s kids.

@@-Archant Even in the Super Mario Adventures comic says its not canon. So are the TV shows a parallel universe or something? And don't get me started on the SMB Super Show. Mouser and Tryclyde are NOT supposed to exist, except in the Dream World with Wart and so on.

Bowser Jr.: Lord Bowser’s only son. Am I the only one to accept that the Koopalings are no longer Bowser’s children? In all the Mario and Luigi’s since Paper Jam, as well as Paper Mario Color Splash, they refer to Bowser as Lord or Master. Not Dad. So they’re forcing us to accept it.

Daniel McLatchie well the older shroob Princess wasn’t enslaving them it was the younger one, the elder one was looking out for their people (shroobs) until the second phase were she uses drastic measures.

Disappointing the final boss' name is just called "Best Fitness Friends" A fusion name like Bowletta's would be much better (like Dileef or something)

Yes, I agree I am italian and usually I'm not really happy with the translations, but the BFF team in italian is "squadra BIO" (Banditi Iper Orridi, which means Iper Orrid Bandits) and their final form is called "Sgor-BIO", a pun, because there's a word in italian that's "sgorbio" which means something like "disgusting". Only for this time, I love the italian translators
