I just bought the Solution, almost chose the V3, but went with the BowTech. Mine is factory set at 72 lbs, in performance mode, and to me the draw is not that aggressive. I find it to be rather smooth, from start to almost the end when the valley hits. The V3 shot and felt about the same to me. And we had the V3 set at 77 lbs, straight from the factory. Good video. Thanks.

I bought a Bear Escape after a friend suggested that speed kills 🙄 . I couldn’t agree more that the draw cycle is not enjoyable and shooting it wears me out, I will get rid of it this year and will absolutely go with comfort over speed. When your cold or have a difficult shot from a stand or blind you don’t want to miss that opportunity because you don’t have that quiet smooth draw. Thanks a lot for the reviews 👍

The solution bows look pretty good. But as for specs and performance, the reckoning 35 is on my short list. I have a 30" draw so I get good performance out of most anything. I still have my specialist with Barnsdale limbs. It is so hard to give an unbiased report due to the muscle memory an archer builds with their current bow. This makes most everything else fell noticeably different, especially going from one brand to another. Each brand seems to have their signature feel. I do prefer a binary cam system for the tune-ability and the adjustability of the valley and wall. You can have a short twitchy valley or a long deep valley while maintaining the timing and nock travel.

I've been shooting Bowtech/Diamond for almost 6 months now and the best thing I like about them is how they can put a ton of adjustability and a nice cam and yolk system for a low price. I think they're rivaling with PSE on ease of use with price, and in fact, I was deciding between PSE and Diamond for my first bow, but I decided to choose Diamond because of the price at the time. It has since raised to 349 for the bow I shoot compared to around 270-290, so if you're thinking of getting into archery with a beginners bow, might want to buy it sooner rather than later because the price might increase. Another thing I like about Bowtech/Diamond (Bowtech owns Diamond) is their warranty, and lifetime warranties are really nice :). Warranties are also compared between PSE and Bowtech with PSE offering 100% coverage up to 5 years after the bow was purchased with 50% coverage every year after that, which is also nice :)

I have a question, being that the solution is a new bow. I recently purchased one, strictly based off youtube reviews and reviews on google, anyway using a qad ultra bowtech drop away rest, which is irrelevant. I cant get my fletchings to clear my bus cables, and finding center shot has deemed difficult as well do to cables. Have you or anyone you’re aware of had this issue. If i push the cams over it creates hard cam lean. Anyway please respond with any input please, btw my local shop could not get to the bottom of it either.
@averagejackarchery
@averagejackarchery 3 жыл бұрын
One part I'll troubleshoot with is the berger holes on the newer BowTech bows is LOW. Like much lower than any I've seen before. I actually set the rest for the arrow to be in the top half of the hole and not covering the hole like most bows. This of course will allow you to be closer to the cable guard and will give more Fletch clearance. What kind of Fletch are you shooting? Just a normal Blazer?

Is ATA length really a significant factor to consider? I recently demo’d an elite remedy thinking for sure I was going to buy it and ended up trying a solution ss as well without knowing anything about it. I was shocked by good it was! The Remedy is also really good too.I think I’d buy the SS but I am hung up on this idea that the extra length of the Elite is somehow better for stability, and accuracy. I want something I can hunt everything with and maybe even shoot some local 3D tournaments with.
@averagejackarchery
@averagejackarchery 3 жыл бұрын
ATA goes also hand In hand with draw length. The longer the length, the more acute the string angle and peep height. For short bows and long draws (29.5 and up) it can be a big pain. For shorter draws, 28 and under especially, string angle is less severe and shorter bows will play nicer. So ATA becomes less of a factor and bows like the SS can suit you very well!
@keithdodson7536
@keithdodson7536 2 жыл бұрын
@@averagejackarchery Very well said i think way too many people never take this into consideration before they purchase a bow.. So many think 29 to 31 in ATA is the best for all bowhunters people need to buy a bow that fits them considering string angle for consistantcy.👍🏹

New shooter here - Right hand/left eye dominant needing a 60lb max LH bow with 29 DL. Would the slower speed of the SS still work well for eastern whitetails from 40 yards or less for a tree stand? Like with Elite's SET tech, here's how I tune the modern Bowtech's and their DeadLock system: Set rest to 13/16" center shot. Shoot through paper. Adjust for vertical tear with rest. The v3 has one of the worst draw cycles I've saw come out in the last 5 years or so. 65 pounds feels like 80 on the stupid thing. I owned a prodigy at 80 pounds and it was easier to draw than the V3. I tried other V3s to see if it was just mine...nope they were all horrible to draw. Great on the shot sont get me wrong but when you have heavy clothing on and are in a weird position when a big buck comes out you'll be much more worried about getting the bow drawn vs how dead the shot was lol.
