Box Joints Like You've Never Seen

A simple tea box made with custom box joints. This is a revisit of one of my first projects, but not a recreation.

Love the content. Looks like your tablesaw blade either needs a good cleaning or re-sharpening/replacing. That will help reduce/eliminate the burning of the workpiece. Looking forward to your next video.

Thank you! That blade definitely needed a good cleaning. I swapped it out at the end of this project and gave it a scrubbing.

Question for you. What's the advantage of starting the resawing with the table saw instead of just using the bandsaw from the start? Great video by the way.

Good question! My band saw isn't all that powerful and not tuned all that well for resawing so the blade tends to bog down and drift during resawing. But the table saw will blast right through pretty easily and leave a clean, flat cut instead of a wavy one like the band saw. To answer your question, no real advantage, my band saw isn't as good as my table saw so that's why I opted to do it this way.
