The Last was also a book adaptation too. Books have the rights to be made into movies and tv shows alike. I don't mind if it goes against the source material. Let it be what it wants to become.

I went to see FLASH because of Andy Muschietti He really deserves some recognition, because he was able to deliver a fun and exciting film experience, despite all the issues that leas to its inevitable failure

That's a very good reason to support the movie. He did a great job salvaging the movie amidst disaster. It wasn't great, but there was a lot of fun to be had.

It’s sad that critically acclaimed movies like BlackBerry, In the Heights and West Side Story and good movies like The Suicide Squad, Tenet and Bros had became Box Office bombs😢.

I stumbled onto Blackberry in one of these countdowns a week or 2 ago. Such a shame it bombed. Its a really good movie. Even more shocking is that it coat only $5m to make!?

I watched 3000 Years of Longing for the first time a week ago - it was frustrating at first, but after the first 10 minutes or so, I couldn't stop watching. Strange, interesting, sad.... I didn't want it to end. I'm definitely glad I ignored my expectations and allowed myself into the Djinn's world.

The mistake they made with Suicide squad was they released it on cinema and on HBO Max on the same day so it was never going to make much money, this strategy of releasing things on HBO and cinemas at the same time that WB used in 2021meant they lost a lot of money on their releases and some studios even tried to sue them over it

I recommend the critics and the world to give it a rest with "The Flash" and understand the only thing that is a flop is Warner Bros. The screwed up The Flash, they screwed up the DCEU, they rushed it. WB SHOUKD KNOW THERE WAS NO COMPETITION WITH THE MCU. THEY BLEW UP😡

Stephen Sondheim, though brilliant, didn’t write the music to West Side Story. Leonard Bernstein was the talent behind all those catchy tunes/lyrics. (Always good to double check your facts first!)

I thought Onward was a pretty good movie. It was recommended to me by the mother of 3 kids who loved it, and I enjoyed it immensely; very creative, not what I was expecting.

Maybe people were just not ready to have a movie to be an allegory about our abuse of the planet and that we should be ready to let go of our use of combustion engines to help save it which is exactly what Strange World was trying to do but it was a little bit on the nose.

IMNSHO… "Box Office Bomb" doesn't apply much anymore… between streaming, disease, and economy… most don't bother paying 100 to go to a movie…

These seems like really good movies. Suicide Squad seems pretty good. Shame Indy failed. I'm sure it's great. Devotion seems strong too. Strange World seems confusing but good. Tenet seems interesting too.Great video

Surprised there was no mention of Rita Moreno in the new version of West Side Story. Rita Moreno was the original version of Anita in the 1961 film She played Valentina, the Puerto Rican owner of Doc's general store, as well as being an executive producer on the 2021 version.

nightmare alley is the movie in the last few years that made me upset for weeks. it was good but had a shit ending in my opinion and was so up its own ass. i liked the look of the movie and the characters but it seemed so rushed towards the end.

Indiana Jones is a trilogy... plain and simple. Waller-Bridge's "Helena" started out well, but quickly became irritating and unlikeable. I've said it before and I'll say it again... most people go to the theater for escapism, not reality. We already have reality. Don't make our heroes old, washed up, and depressing. So, in my mind, The Last Crusade was a perfect ending to a franchise.

I loved the first suicide squad. A very lighthearted fun flick and one of Margot Robbie best performances I miss the margot robbie of the wolf of wallatreet and first suicide squad when she wasnt that much of a feminist. The one who embraced bei g sex symbol.
