Yep lol. That cover off Somewhere In Time sucked me right in. It was one of those albums that at first I put in because I "needed" to like it. Not because I "did" lol. the cover was just too cool lol.

I know, right?!!!! I don't mind mini lp sleeves at all as long as they are quality and larger ones like Japanese mini lps sleeves, but those Classic Album 5 cd set are HORRIBLE!!!!! It's a shame too because they put some great albums in those set releases. I wish they did them all with Jewel cases as well.

Iron Maiden? Nah. I think the officially fall under the New Wave of British Heavy Metal for me. Granted they have more of a symphonic type approach and no palm muting....certainly more NWBHM than Progressive rock IMO.

Thanks my friend. I do love this set. I didn't check that deep, but I honestly don't think this was an official set. I don't pay as much attention as I tend to be ok with unofficial cd releases, but refuse to buy unofficial vinyl releases lol.

Here you have images of the original: www.discogs.com/viewimages?release=5191060 and info about this fake www.discogs.com/Iron-Maiden-Iron-Maiden-CD-Box/release/4691085 . So, the only way to find the 1998 remastered CD's is buying separetly, because the actual copies of the Maiden 80-93 albums are the 1998 - enchanced CD's with extra pc-content - versions of this box, but yeah, the full box was only limited edition.

bruce's solo stuff is a must and the band he started in before maiden wanted him was called samson MY intro into the voice of bruce d. samson with him is great! they got rid of original maiden singer sadly cos he was more punk rock yet ppl hail the cds still! they kicked paul out cos they seen bruce at the samson show and wanted that singer/style bruce was down and number of the beast was born...

Oh, I always thought they kicked Paul out because of his drug abuse. Yes, Maiden was more rock and punk with him, but also great, just a different style.

They come with complete booklets.

They are pretty good. Really just your average type jewel case cds. Nice full inserts though. No one or two page insert sleeves.

I have had no problems with any of the cds in this set. I'm just a collector in the sense that I have official release cds and Japanese releases as well. I just like "Music Stuff".

You are not to far in. I have a few of these before I saw the set. Just sell them on ebay and use that money to purchase the set. I bet you will easily break even if you already have 75% of them

I just double checked and I actually only have 5 of the 12 but either way you're absolutely right, I can sell those and that would pay for more than half the box. I'm looking on ebay and the set only goes for $50-$60 but the single CDs go for $7-$8. Thanks man. Definitely gonna subscribe too, you seem to know your music real well

No. It's a Chinese copy box set. You can purchase it via AliExpres. But, with this things you'll never know what to expect. You can get copy in awesome condition like this or copy with errors in sound and errors on booklet printing. But I must to admit, this CD's looks very convincing like originals.
