Lewis saying 20 mill. is not big enough of a purse/payday to get into the ring, yet these UFC guys like Nate Diaz at UFC 202, in the biggest UFC pay per-views on record, only get 10 at most. Look at Lesnar (wiki the UFC events and at the bottom it lists what they got paid) at UFC 100 as a Champ made under 1 mil. Most of these UFC fighters only make less than 30 grand a fight, as if they're working min. wage jobs, with a whole fight camp overhead that's a lot more than regular boxing camps with all the Jiujetsu, wrestling, boxing they have to learn. These boxers make like 100 times more than them. They get screwed over so bad it's not even funny.

@Ben Lowe Tyson also beat Pilkington Thomas, Tony Tucker (who Lewis only just beat as well), Michael Spinks... lots of other champions or gold medalists he doesn't really get credit for. Also Frank Bruno, twice. He beat the best of his era apart from Holyfield. And the first Holyfield fight was a lot closer than people make out... I rewatched it the other day, they were bombing each other. But credit to Holyfield for that win. Lewis' best win on that list is Klitscho but he barely beat him, I don't think at all - the fight got stopped due to his eye cut, Klitscho was wobbling and battering him just as much, in fact more so for the most part, winning more rounds.

@Ben Lowe Yeah that's the thing though... Tysonw as a fighter of the 80s. He bloomed instantly. Those guys matured and bloomed in the 90s... Tyson was done by the 90s let's be honest. I'll give Holyfield his win but fight 1 was actually quite close, it isn't like Holyfield totally whooped him, I rewatched it the other day; I think Tyson could beat Holyfield, at his best. Lewis fight... isn't even legit. I mean come on. a 2002 Tyson? Doesn't even count. Danny Willliams KO'd him shortly after FFS... Kevin McBride! Lewis deserves no credit for that win. Thomas was WBC champion for 2 years and IBO champion. He had similar win / loss record to legends... why was he not good? Spinks was also undefeated and considered great and was going to be a problem for Tyson... he destroyed him in seconds. I also wouldn't agree Tucker wasn't great. Not saying he's an all time great but in terms of contenders on a resume... he's a good fighter. Tyson beat a lot of good fighters, better than half the legends have on their resumes. Also his Holmes win deserves some credit. Holmes wasn't completely done or over the hill and nobody had demolished the legend like that. Not saying Tyson has the goat resume as he clearly doesn't, but I do think Tyson at his best beats all mentioned.

@Ben Lowe What about Holmes? Trevor Berbick? Razor Ruddock? He also for example beat a lot of guys that people who beat him or the best alongside him in his era didn't beat easily... He KO'd Lou Savaraese in Round 1 - took Holyfield 10 rounds UD, lasted with Foreman TWELVE rounds... Styles make fights, the classic, and yes Holyfield may have always had Tyson's number to a degree but I still think Tyson at his best COULD beat him. Other than Holyfield - what great fighter beat Tyson? Lewis win does not count at all. Also... Alex Stewart - he Ko'd in 1... also took Holyfield 12 rounds decision, George Foreman 10 rounds... He demolished a lot of guys who were good fighers for the era which people you're saying Tyson never fought went the distance with
