It always is in boxing. Their athleticism is not even a question…it’s the streakiest of sports there is. This is for a variety of reasons…prob number one is watching yourself get beat up over and over again after your last biggest fight. These guys do not in their minds even think of losing. So imagine that on tv in front of everyone ? They fall hard.

@Shahar Morningstar Mike Tyson won his first belt at 20, and in this sport, you don't want to waste all your time fighting bums because nobody will give you credit for being a great boxer, they'll just be like "who has this guy fought? a bunch of nobodies!!!" 9 fights in pro boxing and you are still fighting no names. This guy is going to turn out to be the next Seth Mitchell if they keep feeding him chumps that cant take punches.

Honestly with the way he rips the body, they would be in far less pain from a shot to the groin protector than a shot to the Liver or solar plexus.

@@lostkauz83 yeah he's definitely building himself around setting up those body shots. Notice how he tends to mind rush his opponent into reacting how he wants them to, setting himself for that one shot he knows they dont get back up.

I like the fact that he uses body punches. A lot of fighters today don't realize how important a tool body shots are. A well placed body shot on the arms tires out the arm. In the sternum and/or diaphragm and the swelling takes away a fighters ability to take in air. Without air, the fighter tires faster and is more susceptible to either giving up, passing out or getting knocked out. And by far one of the most dangerous punches in combat sports......the Liver Shot. A single well placed shot to the liver puts your opponent in absolute agony. Not since Cotto and not Nikita Ababiy, do I see fighter that put in real effort to body work.

he is literally 8 fights into his career.. but though those body shots should tell you that the power is definitely there. I expect better opposition 20 fights in, you build up champions. You don't feed young kids to the wolves.

Thats the problem look at all of these new promises in boxing, this guy, Ryan Garcia, Tank Davis, they are are agressive and have strenght but their guard is lacking. A technical, orthodox boxer with experience will make a boxing clinic out of them. Exactly what happened with Mayweather and Canelo, after that fight Canelo’s defense significatly improved. They need to start working that guard and head movement before its too late.
