I've read the whole thing and I don't even know how to feel... It doesn't have anything harmful at first glance, but at the same time it has a lot of stereotypes and questionable fanservice. I mean at least it wasn't made by a cishet woman, but still it left a sour impression. I'm not even going to mention that bts comic.

Ok so personal opinion: I totally see why this webtoon gets so much hate and I do sincerely wish it didn't perpetuate so many stereotypes. But I think a lot of the comment section has just snowballed up off of other comments, I've read this webtoon up to the current updates and while I think at the beginning it was far too sexualized and fan service-y, it has genuinely gotten better and actually touches on good relationship dynamics and communication. Not to disregard any of the comments about this webtoon being problematic, but I think people should check this webtoon out for themselves before forming an opinion -sincerely, a fellow queer/genderqueer/poly person :P

This is my favourite comic right now (bought the physical copy and pre-ordered the second volume!), I literally found out about all the hate and controversy 10 minutes ago because I realized "I can go look online for other people that like this!" It has proven to be more difficult than expected lol Some things I found out kinda explain a few feelings I got from certain stuff, but I agree with you and I also overall still think it's a really nice comic. I think people are reacting way too harsh to the comic itself, but can you blame them? It's the internet

A) The characters are based off people the creator knows. So don't you think calling them a stereotype can be harmful B) Why is fanservice bad? The art's cute, the colors are lovely. But I went into it not knowing it was about a poly relationship, so I was rather confused until it clicked. While I do support the poly community in real life, it just wasn't my personal preference in a fictional story. I see and hope that others enjoy it for what it is.
