Both of my brothers have really long beautiful hair and they love it. This hits home, i wasnt allowed to have short hair in elementry and secondary school. I did not like the way i looked with long locks, i was so happy when i was allowed to have a buzzcut in the summer between secondary and college. The first time a lady told me "im sorry young man, this is the ladies room" i started laughing. Hair lenght can make a difference in confidence, i am glad it got adressed. (Even tho i came across this way to late)

Just be careful your hair doesn't get stuck in your guitar while playing. Also, you're not a wuss. There are a LOT of people out there with tender scalps, if I wear a ponytail (no matter how high or low)for too long, it will give me headaches. I know this is old, but if you go to a salon, tell them you have a tender scalp, most understand. If they don't, take the comb from them & comb your hair. When I get my hair colored & they send me out to the chair, I usually grab the comb or brush & start it my self. And when I tell them I have a really tender scalp, they will use a detangler or leave-in conditioner that makes brushing your hair easier. I admire & love your hair. Mine isn't quite as long as yours mine is too the top/mid way down my butt. Yours is below your butt ☺️ I hope you're doing well

I started growing my hair out as well when I was in Year 8 - for a while I looked like a mess, and my hair was messy, and I couldn't take care of it, in year 9 I started combing it, and then in year 10/11, I started to tie it back, and I normally do that now to keep it out of the way, because it goes down to the middle of my back, a few inches below the shoulders. It can be annoying to take care of, and a lot of the time, lots of people confuse me for a girl because of my hair, but I like it, and I'm happy to have long hair
