Working principle: Capillary effect
Operating process:
The ceramic filter is mainly composed of rotary system, shaking agitator system, ore pulp supply and discharge system, vacuum generator, filtrated liquid discharge system, scrapers, backwash system, combined cleaning (ultrasonic cleaning, automatic acid cleaning ) system, fully automatic control system, pulp filtration bowl, discharge chutes and main equipment supporting frame structures.
The pulp filtration bowl is made of corrosion-resistant stainless steel, which plays to load ore slurry. The shafting system stirs the mixture in the bowl to avoid rapid settling of the mineral slurry; the ceramic filter plate is installed on the central piping drum, which is driven by the stepless speed reducer. The plates used in the filter is ceramic filter plate, without filter clothing, which reduces the production cost. There is a gap of about 1mm between the scraper and the filter plate during unloading to prevent mechanical wear then prolong the filter service life.
The ceramic filter adopts backwashing, combined cleaning and other methods for cleaning. The system adopts PLC automatic control and is equipped with frequency converter, liquid level meter, metering pump and other devices. When starting up, the slurry valve is monitored by the material level meter to control the level of the slurry level. The filtrate in the vacuum tank is detected by the level meter. When it reaches a high level, the PLC control system quickly opens the outlet valve of the filtrate pump to quickly drain. The ceramic filter can adopt remote control or centralized control according to different requirements of users.
Equipment applications
Ceramic filter plate known as a ceramic film plate, ceramic clay disc, ceramic clay plate , filter plate, is made of corundum, silicon carbide, new special process made and act as the the filter media. As the core components of the ceramic filter, the ceramic filter plates have been widely applied to iron ore, zinc ore, sulfur ore, copper concentrate, Nickel concentrate, molybdenum ore, Lead ore , Tungsten ore, Manganese fine Filtration and dewatering of mine concentrates such as mines , vanadium ores , aluminum concentrates, gold concentrates, non-metallic concentrates, and solid-liquid separation in coal, fine chemicals, papermaking, pharmaceuticals, chemical fiber, food, environmental protection and other industries.
As the filter medium of ceramic filter, we should also note below:
(1) The particle size and distribution of the material match the pores of the ceramic filter plate. Although the larger pore size of the ceramic filter plate, it is easier to absorb slurry liquid, it can also easy to cause plate inner pores to be blocked;
(2) Try to choose high water permeability plate, easier to gain high pie contents.
Vacuum
Under normal circumstances, higher vacuum degree, the suction is larger, and the production capacity is higher, and the filter cake moisture control will be more better in dryer pie. Some ceramic filters are equipped with a two-stage or multi-stage vacuum system to obtain almost absolute vacuum, which can reach 0.09 ～ 0.098MPa.
