Boz Scaggs recorded this number one hit in 1976. he is 77 years old and still performing.

I just love everything about Boz’s music, he’s the real deal of a performer - especially his unique beautiful singing. I’d suggest “Georgia” for another banger.

🌞 Boz Scaggs is the man!!!!! This has got to be his biggest hit. STILL more of him to explore. Thank you for doing JoJo for me a ways back; he is so damn smooth. I bet you've heard this out and about somewhere if you didn't already start a reaction; its a classic!!

I love and miss the sound of the 70's...I'm old and remember how our music made you feel...(grabbing my heart and swooning)... 🌿🌿🌿

I get that little horn/flute hook stuck in my head all the time. A lot of my personal songs seem to be to this tune. Not that I write music, I mean the weird shit I sing when no one is around.

Remembered the artist, but not the title. Then I hit the play button. Now I remember everything. Love it. Thank you for the reaction❤️

My ALL. TIME. FAVORITE. SONG. It just hits me at a soul level. I heard it the first time at like age 8. At that time I only had cassette tape recorder to hit record 1 minute in off the radio. And then I listened over and over and over. Thank you for your reaction!!!

Boz Skaggs released this song in 1977 or 78 when he was a young man in his mid to late 20s. The video we're watching right now, is of a much older Boz Skaggs in his mid to late 60s. His voice is as smooth as it was 40 some yrs ago. The 60s and 70s had the best music, in any genre. Nothing compares these days with it.

Should check out this version (When it initially came out - 1976) the band is pretty much Toto, with Les Dudek playing guitar. About 1/2 way through, the curtains open revealing an orchestra.

Real music. Nothing like most of the crap we have today. Funny thing is for years I thought the person that sung this song was Black. I was wrong.
@alanwallace53422 жыл бұрын
The album this is from (yes we're talking vinyl) Silk Degrees is one of my ATF, his most commercially successful release (5 x's platinum). Lowdown won a Grammy for best R and B song in '76 or '77, but production may sound a little dated now: A byproduct perhaps of the disco era intruding on his Rhythm and Blues roots? We're All Alone and Harbor Lights remain two of the most beautiful songs I've ever heard.

Boz has always been my favorite artist. I get tired of everyone else, but I nene get tired of Boz. I have all but one of his cd's. I also find it funny that all the reactors are reacting to thus, Lido Shuffle and Jo Jo. And all of this are mediocre compared to his other songs. Downright Woman, PAINTED Bells, Moments Near YOU, We're All Alone....so so many better ones

Great song, but your obsession discussion you were having really spoiled enjoying this classic... The work the band did, horns, guitar, drums and those background singers... SO MUCH to discuss and appreciate... Yup, IMO, you ruined the potential for a sweet reaction to match this Suh-weet song... No offense intended, but just calling 'em as I seez 'em...
