She's in scientology, and he took 2 courses at the tail end of their relationship, but after they split, he never went back. So yeah, I'm sure there was some feelings about that. We know our own hearts and if he said she was the love of his life, then she was.

There is more to a person than just the physical beauty such as brains and maturity. I tried to get my younger sister to understand that but she later would not admit I was right. She refused to accept those mistakes she made. Problem is if one doesn't admit to themselves the mistake, they made it is hard to correct them.
