At the Microsoft Research Center in India, Brad Smith and Trevor Noah were impressed by the way Indian engineers create solutions based on their own experiences - and how those innovations might expand far beyond India to the rest of the Global South and beyond.

Beautiful! What Trevor said is absolutely right. India is like a huge pot of cultures, so much diversity yet everyone comes together to solve problems. A product is made by many people making the small components and then assembling it together. What he said about the engineers mindset about making products is that today engineers have to think globalvand not just about specific markets. I feel we can make software products which are like plug and play componenrs or bricks. You live on the US plug this component in. OK so now you're in India, you can interchange that. We can see that in Windows 11 - e.g. regional settings, currency settings, power settings, games etc.

Why do all the videos the west makes on India, have sitar music in the background? do you guys have kung fu music for all your china videos and mariachi music for the videos on mexico? I like Trevor Noah, but I think this stereotypical portrayal of India has to change.

Sitar music is beautiful, never feel ashamed of your art and music. Never forget your roots. We love India for that. You may never know how lucky you are to be born in a holy land. I wish I was. @@julienicks8691 Indians are not ashamed of sitar music, just as the Chinese I am sure are not ashamed of kung fu or the Mexicans of Mariachi music. Objecting to racial stereotyping does not mean we are ashamed of our culture or roots, quite the opposite in fact. Modern India has its own distinct and vibrant identities, which few westerners seem to understand. that's ok though, it's more amusing than offensive.

1.CoWin ( US and Western Nations issued paper vaccination certificates, while India gave app based / online PDF copies) 2.UPI 3. Identified poor nations as people and showed compassion towards lesser privileged human beings and provided Covid vaccines while Western Countries hoarded them, only to be dumped in millions on expiry. 4. Spirituality and Yoga came from India and many more from a nation that was plundered and subjugated for centuries and is now considered very young Independent(70 yrs) and vibrant democracy.

I am a South African of Indian decent and Trevor is also South African, we know here that he has not insulted Indians or at least in the way you are implying. Please get your facts right
