It takes two people to put in effort so try to see if she's putting in the work as well. Otherwise resentment will only tend to build over time. But yes, give it time. You both have to process the breakup first and go through all that pain and slowly let go of the bad memories...It is a process, but this is what the "no contact" rule is for, to help both of you move forward from that pain. A reconciliation with an ex means there will be a new (thus the old relationship be considered as over) relationship between you two where the lessons of the past are taken into consideration in order to resolve it to create a better relationship in the future. However, truth be told, maintaining a struggling relationship while also struggling with PTSD at the same time can be too much for most people and it appears as this has a taken a toll on your ex and your relationship with her.
