I can agree that he could've tried to snatch it before slapping. But like I said in the video. I don't think it makes him the bad guy in the situation. That almost feels like a courtesy when Ronaldo already put his hands on him and took his property. And yeah, he's most likely not actually stealing the hat. It was an exaggerated hypothetical. lol

He shouldn't have done it, but the intention was to mess around, and it's not like his act had any harmful consequences (e.g. someone getting seriously hurt). The Ronaldo kid fucked around and found out. I think it’s morally fine to hit someone if they took your property and refused to give it back to you when you asked. If you start throwing things at someone you don’t know well and you get smacked… yes. You are the bad guy.
