Hey Brad Js letting u in know in our religion were not allowed to cut our hair on Sundays and at night. Also we have to keep every hair that comes from our head, because we was told we would come back in the after life picking up every hair we left behind. And that we was to be buried with our hair. I'm guilty tho, I have not kept my hair which I hope I do not regret doing 😮... ❤ Ya Brad!! Js thought I'd give you insight in our Native American (Yakama Nation Tribe) culture..

This happened to me at a hairstylist, one woman cut my layers and they looked awfully crooked. Two days later I went to the same salon but to her coworker to get it fixed, and she died of laughter asking why I cut my own hair like that, until I told her it was her coworker, she didn't have anything to laugh about it after that 😂

I was lucky enough to have a coworker fix my hair in the middle of this type of situation. I _told_ the girl who handled dying it that I wanted a modified a-line (more choppy with anime pieces at the ears) but she passed my cut off to the new girl, who proceeded to cut a bob, butcher the back while trying to change it to an a-line, and was finally stopped by the stylist in the next chair, who was finishing tinsel in a little girl's hair. The worst thing you could hear as a client from a co-worker: "What are you doing??!" At least at that moment, I knew I wasn't crazy. Girlie couldn't explain, so I told Ana what she was _supposed_ to be doing and her response to newbie was, "Stop. Just, stop, and I'll finish it when I'm done here." Oh, girlie also absolutely drenched the back of my shirt at the sink - the whole back of my shirt. Needless to say, Ana got the tip. She ended up having to partially shave the nape of my neck to get the a-line design. It was definitely an experience 😩

The trick to following a Brad Mundo tutorial is to actually follow his tutorial. He makes everything so clear even I can do it. I've used several of his tutorials and they always come out great! We decided not to trim my hair at my last color touch up to freshen my layers and I told my stylist I'd just use your tutorial for the butterfly cut if I needed a little something before my next appointment. Trimmed up about 1.5 inches on Friday using the tutorial and didn't record it because I already have that style cut so it wasn't dramatic, but my ends feel great and revived my layers. If people would just section, use a comb, wet hair, direct properly, and use hair cutting scissors...but that's too easy.

Hi Brad. So I owe you a thank you. Several years back I switched to the blonde side. I tried doing it myself… totally botched! Would have been one of the worst bleach fails had I recorded it. My saving grace was that I stopped and went first thing the next morning (wearing a baseball cap) to the only place I knew that did walk in color. I new nothing about how to apply bleach, did everything wrong (no sectioning… no starting at the ends). So for several years I was too scared to try again. Only went to the salon. Started watching your channel and felt like I could do it. My poor boyfriend freaked out a bit, he still had trauma from bleach gate of 2019 so was not keen on me trying again. I’m now not bad at doing it myself, kinda alternate between doing my roots myself and going to the salon. I’m legit so proud. I’ve somehow achieved the near impossible, long, bleached and relatively healthy hair. Not without spending a fortune on Olaplex, K18, Kerastase… but it’s worked! Having a lol to myself this evening… just touched it up, everything is looking good! But, I’ve missed one spot at the back of my head. Lifted it up and whipped the camera out to check underneath… it’s even underneath. Just one spot at the back of my head 🤦‍♀️

I have followed a Brad Mondo tutorial and it worked out very well for me. I went to hair school but was needing some inspiration for cutting my own hair, myself, at home. I needed it short and had no clue how to get the back even. I did the pony tail cut and straightened everything else out. Much easier than fighting for a good line to follow. Brad saved the day. Just saying that I agree with him, people probably do mostly post fails. They get the most views, I am sure.

About a month ago I bought Laifen Swift Special not knowing anything about this product. Now I'm in love with diffuser nozzle for this for this hair dryer. My curls are very happy and seems to be more healthy (ink they just don't look like hay after blow drying as with every other hair dryer). And now I see my beloved Brad (King) Mondo saying about this hair dryer? What a coincidence 😄

I currently have the V cut in the back. I ended up with it after I had Tape extensions and my stylist was shaping the hair. (I though she was just layering my extensions not my actual hair) so when I had the tapes out I didn't want to loose length so kept it. I find for me the V shape actually works for me. I have really fine hair and the layering of the V gives me so much more volume and dimension lol. V cut is definitely very 2000's but great for fine hair gurlies. Xx

I'm convinced that people don't actually know what kind of hair cut they want, so they find a random tutorial and try to follow it. But since it wasn't what they thought, they are confused why it didn't come out. Like the 2nd girl needed to follow your overall hair cut tutorial where you put the hair into 4 sections and cut the length off. Then go back and do face framing layers or whatever she was trying to do. lol

After watching this i impulse-cut layers on the front of my hair in like 5 minutes. It came out great. Helps that i used to do this haircut on myself all the time like 10 years ago. Doesn't help that i never do blow outs so my hair will never look awesome, but i guess it's still better than having all straight-ish hair

Everyone should just do the two ponytails butterfly cut at home. Just do that exactly as Brad describes to a T and it will turn out decent at the very worst. I've done it on my curly, side part hair, my daughter's super long straight, fine hair and other daughter's craft thick straight hair. Aggressively straight. They all turned out well.

Bought the blow dryer used it for 2 weeks in the salon and it DID NOT hold up the heating element or something just didn’t not work by the end of week 2 and I had to take twice as long to blow dry my clients. Went rite back to my Dyson because of that the price point is awesome but I just wish it actually held up for me. (What I mean about the heating element not working is that I could literally hold the blow dryer directly over my hand for a extended period of time and not be burned) 😊

Ya know it’s funny, Brad Mondo haircut tutorials show up on my recommendations all the time, but I’ve never thought to myself “I should cut my own hair” even in the brokest of moments, I’ll just let my hair grow until I can afford a haircut. No money-saving is worth the emotional trauma of cutting my own hair 😂

i used to think that way but then the $8 hair salon near me closed and the beauty school fucked my hair ALL THE WAY UP so i figured i couldn't do a worse job myself and at least then i wouldn't be out $8 for the experience. it also helps that i ALWAYS wear my hair in a ponytail and i don't really care how i look, i just need it to not be matted to my neck with sweat all summer long.

It wasnt about $$ it was when i got expensive haircuts that were just as bad as the cheap ones. Did the wolf cut tutorial out of anger and ive saved about 500 in haircuts since i started doing them myself. 15 for the scissors from Amazon.... Totally worth it.

@@PrettyGirlPretty11 I have extremely thick, wavy hair that would be a mess if I tried to cut it myself. Also not sure that cutting your hair is a basic skill, most if not all people I know go to someone else to get it done because it’s not an easy thing to do. Not like I said I won’t trim my own fingernails or something. Thanks for implying I’m an idiot though, so kind of you.

Just saying, I did follow Brad's tutorial once and everything was totally fine, I think it was the butterfly cut. I've never had any layers before and wanted to try it out. I don't have a lot of hair which kinda spoils the effect, but it looked nice with a bit of styling. I've been cutting my own bangs without any meltdowns for years though, I know the basics xd
