After lengthy contract negotiations with the Senators that kept Brady Tkachuk out of the lineup for a few games, the 22 year old signed to a 7 year contract. He was later named the 10th captain in Ottawa Senators franchise history, which made him the first captain of the Senators since Erik Karlsson, who was traded by the club in September of 2018. Tkachuk tallied a career high 67 points this season, a 22 point jump from his previous career high of 45.
