The Brahma chicken has more pronounced black coloring than the Delaware chicken. The Brahms tail also has a green fluorescent sheen to it.
The Delaware chicken is a faster grower than the Brahma.

Well you guys could have made a much better show IF you could compare the growth rate to maturity, egg production, male size, female size, etc

Are the Delawares as heavy as the Brahma?

The brahma is definitely heavier

Brahma's don't like the heat. Maybe that's why you're having bad luck with them.

Do you have any suggestions as to keeping them cooler in the summer? Here in Florida ice melts way to fast, thinking about installing a couple fans in their coop and run this coming summer

@@MeYouandtheChickensFarm They would love fans. Also if you can move them to a shaded area will help a lot...with the fans of course. Also, you should be using Wire mesh 1/4 inch, so the racoons and mink can't get to the birds.

We don't have minks and no issues with raccoons but they do have hardware cloth on their run, they are in a shaded area so I think just the addition of fans might make the difference
