Made two attempts at this...the first was a bit of a disaster. The second was slightly better but I'm not a 100% happy with them. I'm sure with practice I will get it! :D Thank you for the tutorial

Just want to help. I’ve been around for 60 years and want you to be as successful as possible. Patina, is pronounced (pateenuh). Your video was absolutely fabulous. And thank you so much. I love these earrings. I just want you to sound very professional, as professional as your video was. So I hope this helps it’s not meant to insult!

Do you have a video posted somewhere that might help with the end-weaving and loop making process? I've made 2 earrings so far but cannot get the ends woven in and the loop made. Can you share a close up pic of the top bail part? This is super pretty thank you for sharing your lovely projects with us, I love your videos.

You are so talented! If I were to make a bracelet, how would you suggest I end it so it is an open end or a closed end? Thanks for sharing with us your awesome talent!

Thanks so much Joselyn! (love your name, btw ;) I've done a tutorial on a braided bracelet which you might like to check out: kzfaq.info/get/bejne/iNV1mM913N-8f2Q.html You could probably use that method of finishing the ends to make an open style bracelet with this weave. For a closed style, maybe you could use the same technique in this video of overlapping the braid and the ends, then wrapping the ends around the braided bits on the opposite end, but skip the step where you bend up the center wire ends and just bind them off with the rest? Sorry, I hope that makes sense!

Hey sweety, love your tutorial. I'm trying to find GF 22 gauge wire dead soft, but all I can find is 24 gauge. Will that work? I'm seeing 20 gauge also. Later I will do silver, but want to do the GF this time, thx so much!

Thanks so much! I've actually done a slightly different style of braid tutorial as a bracelet that uses inserted beads, maybe you could adapt that technique? kzfaq.info/get/bejne/iNV1mM913N-8f2Q.html I hope that helps! :)

Can you use 18 guage wire
@FantasiaElegance
@FantasiaElegance 4 жыл бұрын
Hm, that would probably make the braid a bit chunky and heavy for earrings. You could probably use 18 gauge for a bracelet, though!

Not gonna lie, I had to do a double-take at the beginning with the pronunciation of "patina." For future reference it isn't "pa-tin-uh", it's "pah-tee-nah." (Or puh-tee-nuh.) That said though, I definitely booking this video for a rewatch! ❤

Can you do this faster. Your securing of the loops was so fast n so far away we couldn't see exactly was you're doing. Not very good for teaching purposes at all.
