I am a veterinarian, and my own French bulldog was diagnosed with a subarachnoid diverticulum a few months ago. She is also 6 years old and has very similar symptoms to Maximus here. We’ve decided to move forward with surgery after a repeat MRI this coming Monday. This Q&A was very educational and helpful, and it answered many of my own questions. As a vet myself, it’s been difficult to feel so much like a client, not knowing as much as I’d like about this condition. But we’re cautiously optimistic moving forward, and know it’s the right decision for us! Send good vibes for my gal 😇♥️

Empty nasal diffusers (for the administration of midazolam) can also be purchased and charged from the midazolam ampoule ... if the owner can keep calm... That option is by far much cheaper than purchasing Nayzilam(R)

Yes, for at home treatment of cluster seizures, we often prescribe intranasal midazolam with a nasal diffuser. Thanks for sharing!

The doctor says at 10:35 that he understands why more MRI are not done, why is that? shouldn't further follow-up MRI be done?
