Without sounding weird and nosy, where do you live? I love seeing where people live. When we drive down to FL from PA, I am always curious what goes on in these small towns I pass thru. I live in Bethlehem PA. It’s about an hour or so outside of Philly. It’s small but still busy. We have lots of people from NJ and NY because they save so much money. Lol

My dad traveled a lot for his business, especially to small towns, and he would take us with him when we were really young and not in school and I remember thinking that when I was so little "I wonder what these people do for fun here" or I'd see the houses and wonder what everyone was doing inside 🙂😅

You know, Emily, one of the things I love most about you is that while you do use high end products sometimes you still, after all these years, use a huge amount of more affordable drugstore products. The majority of us aren't able to go out and purchase luxury brands on a regular basis. There is one KZfaqr that I used to watch regularly (not so much anymore) and when she first started out she used a lot of drugstore and now that her channel has grown and she has a lot more money she is all about the expensive stuff whether it's beauty products or handbags. So much so that I hardly ever watch her anymore.

Brands like Believe just make the mark. "High End" brands really have no excuse to put out awful products when this brand can come out with amazing products like this all for $5 and under! This momma of two appreciates this brand so much, because $45 for any makeup products is a lot of diapers. :P

When lroduct is made from Korea. Trust it bec jts good product. Been using the moisturizing cream and it gives glow ... hydrates and good for winter weather. Always look fresh . Love it. Been using it for a week

I just wanted to throw out there that Believe beauty has changed up their bronzer/blush/highlighter section! Their bronzers now have a golden shimmer marbling swirled in; the blushes are now kind of like duos, most of it is matte but one corner is a similar very shimmery shade; and the highlighters are now trios, one lighter and one deeper in tone, but you get three shades in the compact. Luckily they're the same creamy formula! Believe beauty also typically has a extra display of accessories (like eyelash curlers), and nail polishes and nail decorations in most DGs! It might be set up a bit away from the main display, so keep an eye out!

Love Believe Beauty!! The foundation is one of my favorites and I've tried enough that my friends make fun of my makeup collection, lol. DG also has their own hair care line, Root to End, and it's also amazing! I'm a cosmetologist so I had to try everything in the line and I'm super impressed. The dry shampoo is holy grail status and it's like the makeup line, everything is only $5!! Way to go Dollar General!!

I think that Root to End haircare you speak of has one product- I cant think of what they call it exactly- but it made my scalp tingle and is so good! Really revives my scalp and cleanses my hair and scalp so well! Love it!

That dry shampoo is my absolute favorite. Sometimes I get a little crazy and put too much pomade in my fair and it'll look greasy, just a couple spritzes of the dry shampoo and my hair looks great!

Also try it with tinted moisturizer. Equal parts...like one pump of each. I use the colour pop tinted moisturizer. It looks so good together!

I love that cream blush. I can not get a cream blush to last on my oily skin. The DG cream blush lasts all day on me. The first time I wore it we went to a birthday party at a park in humid 90 degree weather. I was in the sun for at least 6 hours and it was still there at the end of the day. It's beautiful!

I love Believe Beauty! I I use the foundation in Soft Beige and, like you, I also really love the Nearly Nude eyeshadow palette. I am a staunch believer that no one should have to spend a small fortune to look beautiful!! Believe Beauty proves that idea!! Absolutely stunning!! I also LOVE this line. I've been sold on their foundation for over a year now. The next thing I discovered though, after trying multiple other brands, is their matte liquid lipstick. It is the best!! Not too dry and feels great on the lips. Anyone who might not gravitate towards matte or liquid matte should definitely try these!

Happy Saturday, Emily! I bought the Believe Beauty foundation after your first review of the brand. I was so impressed not only by the quality of the foundation itself, but also by the lux packaging. I later picked up the peachy corrector, a lip liner, lipstick, eyeliner, and a few nail polishes. I feel the same way about the foundation & the corrector. I have a nude liner & the same lipstick shades as you. The nail polish has terrible staying power but so truly like everything else! I’ve yet to buy the other base products because I just have so many options in my collection. But after seeing you demo the primer, bronzer, blush….well…everything else, I really think I’ll try more. The blushes & bronzer look GORGEOUS on you and I could actually see the blurring properties of the powder when you applied it under your eyes. That’s impressive because you weren’t even zoomed in. You created such a beautiful look! I would LOVE to see one of the “Luxury Only” channels do a blind comparison between these products & their high end counterparts and determine which is which. Maybe a video idea??? Have a wonderful weekend!! 💜

Fantastic idea! Have always wondered how much brand name bias affects our judgement of the product, and also whether having paid 50 dollars instead of 5 dollars skews our view of a product. This would be a great way to find out. I get so tired of people gushing over C T or Hourglass! This is why I trust Emily so much because she keeps her eye on the product instead of the brand name or the price.

Great video! You look amazing by the way. I’m a store manager for Dg and the concealer gets returned a lot for the Dow foot falling off. Mine also did. I wish they would fix that issue. Everything else I’ve tried from the line besides their nail polish I have liked. Their nail tools are really nice too! Thanks for putting this line out there for people to see and try out💜

I had heard so many raves about the foundation that I picked up a bottle at my Dollar General store. It cost like $5.00 which is insane. It is AMAZING and rivals some of my high end foundations. It gives really good coverage, lasts all day and doesn't settle into any fine lines. It provides a gorgeous finish. Your skin has such an amazing glow that I'm going to pick up the primer and skin illuminator. The blush and e/s is gorgeous too. Thank you so much for doing this video. I hope this line continues to produce more products.

That mascara is amazing, been enjoying it for quite a while now. The reason I grabbed it was because of the precision brush, and I'm glad I did because the formula is great. It lifts, it separates, builds nicely, and hasn't flaked or transferred, does what it's supposed to do. It must be extremely popular around here, it doesn't stay on the shelf very long.

I did check and they do have a website you can purchase from if you live in the US. I didn’t check shipping outside the states. They have a mascara in a purple tube (the skinnier one) that is AMAZING. I also love the bronzer in Hawaiian Glow. I also love the cream blush and the liquid highlight. They also have pretty nail polishes for only a few dollars!

I've been LOVING their cream blushes for a few months now. Would really love to see them come out with some more colors because it's a fantastic formula! I can't wait to try the mascara and I loved that Moroccan spice lip color you put on today.

@@roseschulze1647 some cream blushes do work well over powder...but I would say as you are first getting used to using them to always use them before powder. I don't set my face very heavily with powder, I just lightly brush a translucent finishing powder all over when I'm done with my makeup, so it doesn't really dull down the intensity of my cream blush. Hope that helps!

I absolutely LOVE the foundation! I think it’s a dupe for my Nars Longwear foundation & I like it better & its $5!!!! & I have very dry skin & this is a nice natural/satin finish on me, with or without primer, I can’t live without this!

I gave the liquid foundation a try...and liked it. Liquid 'skin finish' foundation is made in Germany. It can be described as light to medium coverage with use of damp beauty blender. Great for travel when you don't want to pack up expensive make up and run risk of breaking or leaving it somewhere during your travels. Also great option if traveling and you need to pick up some make up items you forgot to pack.

I have two of their concealers and the doe foot did come off of one of them. Other than the concealers, I love everything else in this line. I really like the brushes and the setting spray.

I have been through a few of these products to include 2 concealers and a loose powder. I had forgotten about that powder! It's the only one I've ever finished. Love that stuff, and this brand as a whole ❤

I hesitantly bought the foundation because of Allie Glines- and I used it alllll summer. Now I’m going to try the primer, cream blush and the face tint. Love these videos, Emily!

It all looks so beautiful on your skin. I do have the foundation it’s a little bit thick & matte for me, but that bronzer is in my top five bronzers, it is beautiful.

Just tried the foundation yesterday for the first time. It lasted on me for a good 12+ hours. Without a primer! Very impressed and the finish is so pretty. 1 pump covered my whole face really nicely.

I am so impressed with this brand. I definitely want the eye primer and the mascara. I have foundation and a coral cream blush but that pink cream blush was beautiful. I was already going to go to DG today anyway. It is literally a 5 min walk from my house. So excited to go now. Lol thanks you Emily for a wonderful review of this dollar store brand. It feels so good to see someone rave about things I can actually afford to buy.

After watching your first Believe video, I got the foundation and really like it. I told everyone, at DG that would listen, that they needed to try the Believe products. I convinced the DG manager, and she told me she uses some of their products now!! I have a list of things to go get today:). Thanks for the video, Emily. I always look forward to hearing from you! I just discovered their skin care and it is GOOD!! Just bought the foundation today in tawny and cafe and I swear my heart gets so happy when I find something amazing with safe ingredients that is so cheap. It's literally refreshing to think that big companies care about us and make it affordable for the many different types of people that exist. I have five DG's surrounding me within like 5 miles and I love getting to go from store to store seeing what each has.

Small town girl here too! I love so much from this brand! There are so many staples of theirs in my makeup bags! Foundation blush bronzer contour ❤️ makeup tip! I like to use my lighter foundation as concealer and my darker as a contour! So I flip my summer and winter shades to keep them in my routine 🙂

I absolutely LOVE that foundation! I used up my last bottle last year, and need to buy another. I also like both lipsticks you mentioned, I have both colors, and they're so pretty! I like their Glimmer Pot cream shadows too. I have Pink Quartz, Vintage, and Girl Talk. All 3 are perfect one and done looks for me. Can't WAIT to try that powder blush, mascara and bronzer. Looks like I'm going shopping today!

Mix it with equal parts of tinted moisturizer. I used the pretty fresh tinted moisturizer with the Believe Beauty foundation. It looks so nice!!

First time viewer of your channel here. Really enjoyed watching this and loved the finished look. As someone on an extremely limited budget, my cosmetics purchases are always based on price. Unfortunately, that lends itself to a lot of colors and textures that leave much to be desired. That is until DG introduced Believe Beauty. They totally hit it out of the park with this entire line - even the nail polishes are setting the bar. My one and only complaint is something that you mentioned - the concealer's applicator nub detaching! I assumed it was just a fluke so I was surprised to hear it had happened to others as well. Aside from that I love everything about this line, and I definitely see it remaining as my go-to brand.

I live just an hour south of St. Louis and DG is everywhere lol!!! I loveeee the bronzers from this brand. The foundation unfortunately just doesn't work for me. It looks so cakey and heavy on my skin. But I am definitely going to have to snag one of those eyeshadow palettes.

The only store we have in my town is dollar general. I can totally relate. It's nice to have GOOD makeup without driving 40 minutes or ordering online. I started with the eyeliner and I am hooked! Now I have a multitude of products and love that you show what to do with it! Thank you.

My Dollar Store always, always sits a big rack of merchandise to be unpacked in front of their BELIEVE display. Maybe one time during the past year, I have been able to look at the BELIEVE display.

After I watched this video, I ran to my DG and picked up the lipstick color you mentioned, Moroccan Spice. Finally! My perfect nude shade at an affordable price. Also, the color barely there in their lipliner looks great with it!

I just got the Believe Beauty translucent Lock it In eyeshadow primer tonight and can't wait to try it! I'm just using hoping it will hold down my oil on my lids and help my individual lashes stay on longer! I don't wear eyeshadow anymore, haven't in years. But I sure have seen many beautiful eyeshadow looks recently and may try some soon! Lol I've got deep set and hooded eyes so it's hard to get anything to look right near my eyes it seems. I'm so happy you did this video. Believe beauty is a good brand. I've only found one eyeshadow pallet that didn't work as well so far. But really happy with the brand overall. I'm hoping they keep the same prices for a long time. Great value. Thanks for showing so many of their products.
