I sure do like the simplicity of the friction drive setup. I don't think I could move away from chain driven stuff.

It occurs to me that with a drive train frame solidly built it could squat on a rear wheel, which would be a great vibration absorber, reduce the need for a center stand, and vertically pivot off a rear fork spline off the seat post. If it doesn't feel like advancing the bike something is probably wrong anyway.
