My favourite home-kits are the 1995-96 kit with hooped socks, the 2000''s Sega Dreamcast kits and the invincibles kit.

The gold Sega away shirt from the 01/02 season is my favourite ever Arsenal top. I'll always associate it with the Wiltord goal at Old Trafford, plus I don't think we actually lost a game in it. Certainly not in the league (we were unbeaten away in 01/02)

I'm not gonna moan, I genuinely love how the shirt looks. Really sleek, the gold is a nice touch and I'm a fan of the thin lightning bolt stripes. Adidas has done it again!

Exactly they cost pennies to manufacture and the poor sods that work in the factories to make these get peanuts for it. Then they got sold for ridiculous amounts money. Last time I purchased an official arsenal shirt was from the club shop in 2004 after the invincibles season when I was young and naive.

Robbie you should wear the shirt when you review it. It would help with seeing the fit and shape. Also the neck fit is always something that bothers me with wide necks so it would have been nice to see it on.

I understand the reason they went with gold, but if the gold was replaced with navy this would’ve been one of my favorite arsenal kits ever. I love the 90-92 home kit and if the gold on this kit was replaced with navy it would’ve looked very similar to that one.

22-23 kit was great. I bought it for my 8 yo daughter, on a super price of 30€ . I bought for me the 23-24 one, and is worse ,the materials are worse.

I would give it a 6, doesn’t really do much to me, I agree with the neckline being to low. Would have been nice to have a sleeve that wasn’t raglan should be a fitted sleeve like the old ones in the 70s perhaps that would be a great one going forward

I have a question, I bought the new home kit here in Australia but it wasn’t either the standard or authentic kit, the difference is the crest on mine is stitched with red stitching around the entire Arsenal badge and having looked around I haven’t seen another like it, I’m confused what I’ve actually bought as the rest of the shirt looks like the standard Arsenal home kit??

That baggy round neck line is similar to the one from the invincibles season, so I get it, but I would prefer a small collar. Really like it though overall, 8.5/10

I liked this new kit. It looks simple classy and mature yet it's techy. Also we have to be careful not to overdo that retro vibe. To me Adidas are now a curve ahead of Nike in terms of overall kits for both clubs and countries. I could see it from a mile away. Nike seemed to have been having the same template for clubs and countries and just adding colours. Perhaps they might have taken on far too many club and country kits or even projects in general. You can only push designers so far. Or Adidas are beating Nike at recruiting really talented designers. Their battle has been interesting to watch over the years. Adidas have now moved and advanced from Retro to Clean, techy and minimalist esp with their world cup kits. Also you can play with the replica shirts. The difference is the authentic ones have advanced perspiration technology for high intensity games that's why you might find they have much lighter and comfortable material. Can't wait to see what Adidas pull out of the bag for the away kit 🔴⚪🔴. They've been delivering the goods so far!!

@@harris4295 The one in the leaked pictures is not bad. It will just take some time to get used to. I think it's more of a designer style piece than a playing kit though. It's the type of T-shirt you pair with black jeans and a jacket 😂😂. Nowadays kits are somehow half sports and leisure-wear.

Nice top this seasons top was lovely it had a 90s retro touch last seasons top was also lovely also they should go back to having the home kits for 2 seasons like back in the 90s and early 2000's £80 pound is ridiculous for a football Jersey but i know ill end up buying it 😂 i bought last seasons home top but not this seasons lets hope it gets us a title on our 20th anniversary 😊

A solid 8/10 I'm glad they got rid of the collar. I didn't liked the zickzack pattern on the current one. That's the reason I can't rank the new one higher as I don't like the lightning application on the back, nor the zickzack pattern in the red, but that's just personal gusto. My favourite team (Bayern Munich) has made it somehow to be champions of the Bundesliga. That means it could be possible to see each other in the champions league groupe stage.... again.... has been a while ..... Good to see you back and hope you will be gentle with my club, we are just having a rebuild.

The Gold on this kit simply represents the Gold replica trophy that was awarded to AFC by the premier league in August of 2004 after the invincible season. It has nothing to do with this current season and our lead on top of the table.

The problem with this shirt is the lightning bolt pattern is only visible from up close. From any kind of distance it just looks like the 14/15 home shirt which I hated. 6/10

Last years kit was really nice. I’ve boycotted since last champions league qualification. They sold out of my fat ass 2XL which sucks. I would wait to see what’s next this home kit is average. But I’m excited to buy a new shirt this year after 7 years. Hi Robbie.

Ive liked most of the Adidas kits, but for me this 1 I have to rank the lowest alongside last years home kit. I didn't really like that one & I believe I disliked this one even more. It reminds me of the Puma Kits. Npo style or substance apart from the Gold Trimmings. 6/10 for me.

I am still waiting for Adidas to make an "remake" of the 1989 home and away jersey. They were simple and stylish. Clean and nick looking. "Home red", white and some blue. Classic"away yellow" with blue and red details. Single canon with no sheild background. (Btw, there is a guy here in Sweden, owning a sport goods store, claiming a former co-worker of his design the badge as we know it to day...) 🤔
