It seems pretty awful either way, with that 20 damage not scaling at all. Even if you managed to trim your bag down to one or two strong orbs, that reload damage would be pitiful for dealing even with the second zone enemies, considering it takes 4 reloads for it to be doing 100 damage to all enemies, when you could be doing three times that damage with a single good poltorbgeist throw from round one.

There is one weird build for it. Combine it with the shield that makes you invulnerable during reloads, and find a way to have zero orbs (it is possible). You now auto win any fight except the wall boss

Have you seen the cheese strat where you take Bad Cheese and Round Guard, then give up all of your stones so that you get stuck in a constant reload loop and just instantly grind to victory?

First run with new orbs got made a Shock absorber lv3, duplicated it, so had had them both hitting for over 50 damage per peg, was fun.

just started watching the video, but i had a run where i got that durable 3 relic from the first boss had a critiball and a relic that increases crit damage by 1.3x every extra crit critiball would hit a crit 6 times and spawn new ones in every 6 hits so it was hitting hits over 40k... it was ridiculous

There's a reason that Critiball no longer activates crits, because that relic combination was too strong.

Yeah that was Critsomallos Fleece before the nerf. The fleece now instead of doing (crit damage) x (1.3 x 1.3 x 1.3 x 1.3...), does (crit damage - normal damage) * (1 + 1 + 1 + 1 + ...). You could deal so much damage with pre-nerf fleece it would overflow the damage counter and end up dealing zero, e.g.: kzfaq.info/get/bejne/q9ZziNiotM3cqqs.html

Orblation does 7( 5 at Max level) unlockable SELFdamage whenever used, the enemy hits for 12. Tom had 14hp

Wow they nerfed the heck out of Bouldorb. It's so bad now, it's just an Overwhammer that can only hit ground. Edit: Ok, at least once it's fully upgraded it's a normal Bouldorb.
