I watch a Japanese women on here who has a skincare channel and she said that in Japan, lotion means toner so that's why its so watery. It's not quite a serum because usually serums have some oiliness to them and are often the viscosity of and oil or sometimes milky, but still offer the oily hydration. I do think that this one could be used as a toner or in the serum stage of skincare due to it being fairly basic - up to personal preference.

Yes for sure! It makes it really lightweight which I really enjoyed! Plus they have the smaller serum which is more like a typical serum depending on your preference! ❤️

@@DrSapnaSkin Yes! I might try one of Hada Labo's lotions/toners someday. I'm quite interested in the red bottle one targeted toward dry/aging skin. My skin is oily, but I feel like a moisturizing toner could basically be a 2in1 toner and serum step if the toner does have a bit of an oily slip to it. I just ordered the Tokyo cleanser and skin plumping moisturizer. I'm excited to try them out! Especially the cleanser. Here is the woman I was talking about. I have been using the original hadalabo serum for about 2 years everyone comments on the look of my skin & it is extremely smooth I'm 58 & swear by it.

First of all, I absolutely love your in depth review of Hada Labo Tokyo products! I adore their whole line because it really suits my combo skin + they don't have any fragrance so I never really had any issues (not that I mind but in some cases I find scents overwhelming). The concentrated water serum is my holy grail ✨ And second of all, I'd love to see if you could review the Glow recipe dew drops, or anything from their skincare line, since I heard they're great on their own or can be used as a primer/mixed with foundation. Sending hugs 🤗❤️

Aw thank you! Glad you liked it! Yes absolutely, it's such an easy line for anyone to just pick up and use with no issues. I've just been sent some PR with more products from their line. They've brought over some products with retinol in that you might like too! ❤ Glow recipe is definitely on my list! So far I've only tried the cleansing balm 😊

Combo skin but the super hydrator one seemed to break me out..I hope it’s just purging though. It’s quite expensive.
