it hurts a lot tho since handtraps are so bad in branded and you cant run them all

@@No__Vanity For sure, it's got its problems but until I can pivot to running thrusts it feels about as good as I can get. The hit to consistency does hurt a lot though.

I use 3 shroudion when I run Allure and High Spirits, esp with Keeper and Super Poly engines

If I did bump Shroudion I'd definitely consider 3 Cart too with that in mind

Banishment is not a bad card, but I think it can sometimes be perceived as "win more" in a lot of cases. I have sided the card before if the superpoly effect is good enough, but I just have not ever felt a real need for it in the main. Kitt is occasionally played in tcg, but never at more than 1 copy. One reason as you said is a lot of the power cards have not been hit in tcg like they have in MD, but also Kitt only really shines if the build plays Branded in High Spirits, especially at multiple copies, and is getting Kitt as a free special summon or to recycle something from banished. Usually this is not needed and Aluber is strictly better in terms of card advantage. If Branded Fusion was at 1 and the need to recycle it was more prevalent Kitt would be a mainstay in every list.

ive heard of sheirren tech but never this extended package! That sounds super cool. Another recent tech I'd never seen was Sky Striker MULTIROLE. they play it so their Branded Fusion and other spells can't be stopped! it's so neat how people continue to come up with creative innovations with this deck.

(I don’t run handtraps so not being able to use ash for the rest of the duel doesn’t hurt).. I love the tear fields spell though. Usually makes everything just big enough where they can’t beat over it! And branded doesn’t run a field spell so why not!

@@YamiElut yeah tbh the field spell has came in clutch more times than not! You can really brick on it either!

Quem is a difficult one to replace since no card does everything she can in one. Part of the power of the two Bystials (specifically Saronir) is to get you to other spells through the graveyard when paired with Quem's on summon effect or Albion the Shrouded Dragon's send to GY. Without two of those 3 pieces it will limit you in certain scenarios. I would probably either swap in a tech of your choice like the patchwork engine/super poly/etc, and/or bump Cartesia to 3 for strictly more gas

If you plan on getting Quem/Sanctifire/etc pretty soon then I think for a bit you'll be fine with the patchwork engine as a substitute (and even after getting Quem you can still totally play it). Feel free to try Chimera as well but just know that Chimera Branded and Branded Despia are completely different playstyles, so if you want to play Branded Despia due to its style you may not be as happy playing Chimera, and vice versa

There is no true replacement for all that Thrust does, but some combination of Talents and/or Crossout whether in main or side will do you well

Its a hilarious card but I wouldnt play it. Even being a thrust target there are much better things to set and much better side cards in general imo

And about the first part: the first time I found out about it was online not long ago, G1 I won but only saw chimera cards, G2 they went first and led with Ostinato😂got jumpscared a little bit

I only do locals, so for me it's just amusing watching the others reaction. I play a lot of cards that are annoying when they work. Lol

Its not a bad card, I've just never found it necessary. When setting off Albion I usually would want red anyway and even in the mirror match I'd rather have other side cards like bystials

Interesting.. for me its a must have, i always plays with 2, my fav combo is albion and mirror jade w albions effect, then bystial lubellion from gy by sending albion to the gy,setting branded beast/regained/lost with bystial and finaly branded banishement by albions effect in gy. Very good win ratio, but just online

For sure. Been experimenting with/brewing some 60 card piles in my free time, more just for fun than anything else and trying different engines together
