It’s always been funny to me how Marvin and Mendel shared an performer in the original casts for In Trousers and Falsettos. Chip Zien played Marvin in the first, then played Mendel in the second. There’s something kinda neat (to me) about decades later, the revival’s Mendel to sing Marvin’s song.

Crystal Sings it was christian, because in 2015 the two were both nominated for best featured male actor in a musical, Brandon for An American in Paris and Christian for Something Rotten!, and Christian won the tony.
