Fun fact, drywall is made of gypsum, which, along with calcium carbonate, is used to make chalk, so depending on which mineral they were eating, they could’ve literally been eating drywall😀

I believe that the edible clay, edible paper, and edible chalk/drywall were made as an edible alternative for people with pica. The edible leaves and flowers could also work to do that

As someone who has decorated cakes You absolutely can print on the edible paper. If you buy edible ink cartridges for your printer then put the paper in and print. I even had the wild idea for my husband who is an attorney. I told him he needs to print a document on some sugar paper and then eat it in court. It would freak everyone out 😂
