Absolute Nonsense. If McGuire was ever worth £80M, which everyone knows he wasn't, and isn't. Then, Branthwaite is worth more. Why? He's twice the player Stones was when he was here, and is younger. He's left footed when most defender's, nevermind centre half's, are right footed, and he has great pace and well balanced technique; he's made two, maybe three errors all season when most "achieve" that in one match. It is about time Everton Football Club grew some bollocks and told everyone else to do one and adhere to Everton's expectations, and our expectations, for a change. We are a football club that is too nice on the football pitch, and have been so for far too long. The player's never get at the ref's whilst other clubs player's can't wait to, and get away with it, because they always do it, that is why. The mindset of, in our football club and everyone around it needs to change, or it will eventually disappear up it's own arse. We cannot give this premier league what it is after and wants.
