I have driven from Budapest to Bratislava, two of the most beautiful cities in Europe. Nice train ride, thanks for sharing it with us 👍

I was able to decipher the Soviet-era mosaic in the Bratislava train station when I visited this past June. I took the city express from Vienna to/from Bratislava and found the Slovakian coaches to have electric plugs and A/C and the OBB cars did not. Also, tickets for the same train were considerably cheaper on the Slovakian and Hungarian train websites than booking on the OBB site (we went to both cities from Vienna).

First Class is 99 Euros if booking on the OBB or Trainline websites. 19 Euros (yes, I am not kidding) if booked on the MAV (Hungarian State Railways) website. 59 and 12 Euros in Second Class.
