Thank you! No, both countries are members of Schengen area.

The trains are very basic. There is no First Class seating. If you want food, you need to buy it before you travel.

The train is 2nd class only. There's no catering car as it's only a regional train on a one-hour journey.

@@Homo_Vagus This is correct. However, there is 1st class seating on the train from Wien to Bratislava via Kittsee.

@@Homo_Vagus There are only two ways of getting from Wien to BA by train. One of them offers first class travel, but not the other.
