I'm a bit shocked that at 57 minutes into this video, Adam has referred to Marchand as a center more than once and nobody has said anything. Marchand is on the left wing, which means Adam's gonna get docked for having 3 wingers on his 4th line. Lol

jake guentzel not even getting a mention is insane to me hahaha he's currently tied for 19th in points, tied for 20th in goals and has been pretty much a ppg player since 2019 - also exactly a ppg player in the playoffs - 58 points 34 goals in 58 games

Knew these guys wouldnt take anyone from my team, but as an avid blues fan, 38 pts in 35 games, currently 19th in league scoring, Robert Thomas would look good on your team, take out either Aho or Hintz, what do you say?

@@NHLchaos Aho: 15 of his 39 pts on PP, 24 at even, +6 Hintz: 10 of his 32 pts on PP, 22 at even, +7 Thomas: 4 of his 38 pts on PP, 34 at even, +13 If the blues had any semblance of a PP, i dont think your decision would have been that hard. Stutzle: 8 of his 33 pts on PP, 25 even, +3 Your right theres no wrong answer here, and its just for fun anyway, and thomas avgs more ice time, but thomas at even strength is a beast. No PP to speak of and hes top 20 in scoring (as of this post) is pretty remarkable.

@@anthonyfaccaro7118 Yeah idk why Thomas isn't talked about as much considering his 5v5 production. On second thought, it would've been smarter to go with 5 centers and move Thomas to the wing. There weren't any slam-dunk RWs remaining when I picked Batherson, so yeah that's one changed I'd make

@@richardtherichard26 They're drafting players for the regular season calendar year 2024. Saying Landeskog might be ready for playoffs is redundant. So he might be ready to start next regular season, Jesse still lost a ton of points by picking a player who is inactive for months. And of course those intangible factors mean absolutely nothing when drafting players for points.

I think a comparison to the players picked might surprise you. Most underrated player in the NHL since the day he started. BTW he started pretty good that day too.

Great video. 2 comments: - Didn't take Patrick Kane. Solid start coming back from injury - figured he might be in the conversation if we are talking a "healthy" draft (around a point a game when this video happened with upside, especially if he is on a better team than Detroit) - Maybe try this with a cap limit to make it less about "superstars" and assembling a good team/ finding sleepers

Kept watching and waiting, but some slander (obviously taking into account they can only draft total 36 Fwds, 18 D, 6 G) to Eichel (C), Stutzle (LW, C), Verhaeghe (LW, C), Morgan Reilly, Werenski, and don’t know how they forgot about Georgiev. There’s prob way more but those are some of the main guys I had in mind who are good this year and probably will be good next year
