After we read aloud (15-20 minutes) we spend 5-10 on the Arrow once or twice a week.

You can use it as an all in one program, but we also have language arts in our other curriculum.

@@HomeSweetHomeschoolLife I'm curious what other things you use in your homeschooling... We seem to have children with similar personalities and I struggle finding things that are fun for them in terms of really anything... They need adventure, excitement, experiments and tons of outdoors...can you share or do you have a website (I have yet to find one for you) with curriculum suggestions or just want you have used in the past and what has worked? Also, my kids are horrible spellers, they would probably not know how to spell 'made' properly. What would you recommend?

E.Y. McCallum right now we are using Gather Round Homeschool curriculum. It is a unit study approach that can be used with all of you children. It only takes us a little over and hour and includes everything but math. My son absolutely loves it. I have a few videos as well as a day in the life showing that curriculum. For math we use Math Lessons for a Living Education.

E.Y. McCallum as for spelling, I try to notice what he misspells as he writes and we review it very casually. I also have a few videos about fun ways to practice spelling.
