My 79 year old mum & I started to talk about her Scottish history. She belongs to the clan Ramsay on her grandmother's side & my father side the clan Gordon who fought along side Wallace. I'm proud of my Scottish history.👍🏴🇺🇲 And getting my first kilt!👍🏴😊

I was 7 when my Dad passed away. 19 when my mum passed and I've lost 2 brothers to Cancer. This music reminds of them each time I hear it. Beautiful music. Thanks for sharing with us 💕

I was 14 maybe 15 years old. I still don't know why my english teacher dediced to let us watch this masterpiece at school, during her lessons, but it worked. We were not grown enough to understand what freedom means, sometimes i think i'm still to young to figure out what it really is, but we certanly felt its power, how much important it is. She died last year but i like to believe she passed with a smile, a real free person smile.

My passed away in October through cancer and this was played via a bagpipe as we carried his coffin there wasnt a dry eye in the place as most of his side of the family came down from Scotland. The best thing I remember was there all stood and give the best rendition of flower of Scotland at the end, I can honestly say that I'm proud to be of scottish blood

First watching this film when I was a young boy. I was living between my parents friends as they was going through a breakup. This film hit hard. 25 years later it still takes me back to all the emotion. Tough years followed.

So I saw Braveheart yesterday. In beginning I thought is was a normal war movie or something. But no man it’s Freedom... I cried so hard at ending. I search more about the Scots and William Wallace. Thanks to this beautiful movie I learned more about another cultures en hero’s.. and yeah the music is also epic !

@Lost Soul my family have been fine with my decisions not to be jabbed, but I'll be honest, I'd have zero worries about walking away from close friends, immediate family etc and never see them again if they turned their backs on me over it. I actually know a husband and wife in my village who are poles apart on this and it's destroying their marriage

The music brings tears to my eyes. No movie is the same without background music like these. In reality, it's just our heartbeat that we hear, but this kind of music stirs our hearts like as if we are in the shoes of those being portrayed.

Woe sich die Geschichte wiederholt... Damals kämpfte ein Volk für seine Freiheit, heute gibt es wieder solche Kriege... Jeder findet es faszinierend wenn es in der Vergangenheit passiert ist und spricht offen aus wie er sich fühlt wenn er den Film oder die Musik heute hört. Ich wünsche allen unterdrückten Ländern oder Volksgruppen das Sie den gleichen Mut finden wie die Schotten. Wir Menschen werden nie aufhören uns gegenseitig zu unterdrücken, ein Miteinander liegt anscheinend nicht in unserer Natur.....

I'm half Scottish and English and I know William Wallace was not like what he's made out to be. He cut down anyone in his way if it was English, Scots or children for that matter. As he ordered to burn down houses and infrastructure that the English had or anyone that stood infront of his rise. Yes he served the king of Scotland but he really wanted power for himself.

My dad just died 2 months ago on march 15th it was the saddest time of my life I still feel lost. We are Scottish decent and he always loved brave heart. All I can do now is listen to good music and hold onto all of those precious memories I had with him. I still can't believe he is gone ..don't know if I'll ever recover from this but wish me luck guys

I'm very sorry that you lost your father, and I want to tell you that I feel with you. But do you know that you will get the possibility to see your father again here on earth?! God is promising this to you in the bible through Jesus the son of god when he says in John 5:28,29 ...you shouldn't be surprised, because the time will come when all, who are in the graves will hear gods voice and will come out. The bible gives so much exact information about, what god plans to do on earth, namely a paradise, and how this will affect people, so that we all will get the possibility to see our loved ones again. The bible reports on how peacefully and happily people will live together on earth in the future, where there will be no more illnesses or death. Isaiah 65:20 ...no more will there be an infant from that place who lives but a few days, nor an old man who fails to live out his days. Isaiah 65:21 ... they will build houses and live in them, and they willl plant vineyards and eat their fruitage. I still feel like I can’t recover and move on. But we as scottish Americans, must remember... what our ancestors and kinfolk went through when the times got rough. And that means sticking together, as a Clan!!! The Clan(family),is the strongest rock in the land my friend! We must remain strong as your father would want you to be, and as my mother would want me to be! Remember this Harold, that just because they left us here on earth, does not mean that they are no longer around, because believe me they are still here!!! Lost my 11 year old grandson, first grand to a tragic accident on a four wheeler. Life is not ever gonna be the same. 4.5 years without seeing him grow, progress in baseball as a pitcher. Getting his DL, dating, married , babies. I questioned God for a second and then he saved me- I was manic, anxiety through the roof- 2 years after Lanes passing I got saved . Giving my life to God was the best decision I’ve ever made. I still miss my sweet boy , but I know in my heart I will see him again.. I love & miss you Lane, Nana…✝️🙏😇🧡💙

One of the best movies ever made! Some of the best soundtracks ever made! This is one of those kind of movies, where my eyes almost drown them-selves! One of my dreams is to go to Scotland, because I have seen pictures of the scottish landscape, and even that makes me think to myself: now i think I know why the scottish people did fight so hard for their homeland.
