BRAZIL vs. CUBA | FINAL - Men's World Championship 2010

The 2010 FIVB Volleyball Men's World Championship was held in Italy from 25 September to 10 October 2010. The tournament featured 24 teams to determine the world champions in men's volleyball. In addition to 2006 champion Brazil and host nation Italy, 22 teams qualified for the tournament by means of continental and regional competitions. The matches took place in ten venues across ten Italian cities, with the final being held at the PalaLottomatica, Rome.
The tournament was won by Brazil, who beat Cuba in final. Brazil won their third straight world championship having won previously in 2002 and 2006. The podium was completed by Serbia who defeated Italy in the 3rd place match. Brazilian wing-spiker Murilo Endres was named the tournament MVP.
Brazil's victory continued their eight-year period of domination of world volleyball. Brazil has now won 15 of 17 major competitions since 2002. Brazil's third straight world championship equals the record for consecutive titles set by Italy in the 1990s.

Aquele time Brasileiro Bi Mundial em 2006 foi o melhor que vi jogar ,Giba ,Ricardinho,Gustavo ,André Nascimento,Andre Heller mas esse de 2010 ja com algumas mudanças importantes como Lucao e Bruno tb era sensacional e manteve o BR ainda no topo ate as Olimpíadas de 2016.

La confederación Cubana de Voleibol en un momento dijo que los jugadores que juegan en el exterior no seran citados a la selección, como obligandoles a que jueguen en su país solamente. Por eso hubo muchos nacionalizados cubanos por la estupida regla de la confederación cubana que duro muchos años , hasta el año pasado.

In terms of strength, Brazil had a monstrous player called Anderson, I would compare it to Darlan who plays in Brazil today. However, these two and three famous players from Cuba often mentioned in the comments don't even compare to Giba

Que mané tiktok cara, sempre quando o Brasil esta mal em algum esporte, principalmente futebol e vôlei vem uns lesados igual vc tentar colocar a culpa em algo que não lhe agrada, vocês precisam entender que o Brasil não vai ficar no topo para sempre, são ciclos que começam e se encerram, de lá pra cá muita coisa mudou, outras seleções cresceram e estão brigando, esporte de alto nível é assim, e também não é sempre que vamos formar atletas fora de série como um Giba da vida, mesmo assim o Brasil continua sendo um dos melhores do vôlei.

Cuba lost because Brazil was better, a better coach, better players, a better squad. The only thing that shines in the eyes of laymen is that Leon, Leal and Simon were young and still play volleyball today, so they know their names. As for Brazil's players, people don't know them, besides Giba, there was Lucas Saatkamp at his peak, Bruninho at his peak, Dante and Murilo who was one of the best pointers in the world and Serginho the best libero in history.
