BRD means the wat is business needs and SRS how to implement this, wat UI needed and information required

Great video! Thanks! But i have a question. If I understood correctly, Business Requirements are all about "why?" and SRS is all about "what?". Then why on 3:42 a business requirement is "only registered users could see the premium facility of the website"? Isn't this statement is related to SRS? In my opinion, Business Requirements should always start with the verb such as Increase, Decrease, Minimize, Maximise, Reduce, etc., and a reason behind. For example: (BR) minimize the number of steps that the user performs during the registration process. (Reason) We need to achieve 100,000 users by the end of 2022, and the current registration process is too "heavy" for the users. It takes almost an hour to complete the registration form. We need to simplify the registration process.

Thanks for liking the video. The difference between Business requirements and Requirements in SRS is about perspective. Both of these describe "WHAT IS TO BE DONE?". But business requirements is the version from the business (or the customer) so it will also have "Why". So, The requirement - "only registered users could see the premium facility of the website" gives the business version of WHAT is expected but can a developer use this to develop the program/screen?. Definitely, NO. Also, the business will provide you the reason or WHY of it? In this case, it is probably because they want to have premium and basic facilities in the software (and charge accordingly). The SRS requirement needs to detail this Business Requirement to enable tech team to write a program or develop a screen, which will include prototype/screen design, data model, process diagram/steps and business rules. To conclude, both Business Requirements and SRS version (also known as solution requirements) present "WHAT" but the detailing and perspective is different.
