Zorawar Light Tank is literally the most promising tank I've seen from DRDO.. K9 Vajra inspired chassis with John Cockerill 105mm Auto cannon turret, Nag ATGM/ loitering munitions carrier, BEL RCWS, Tonbo Imaging Sighting systems including See Through Armour set, smoke grenade launcher and Add on Armour to counter APFSDS.. powering them with Cummins 750HP engine giving it 30HP/ton Literally a tailor-made package made for Chinese Type-15.. If Pappu Keyboard Squadron wants to criticise this beast, good luck😂😂

Cummins engines from USA,,,cockerill turret from Belgium,,,k9 chassis from south korea,,,still people call it indigenous 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂. If any one of the above mentioned items are stopped supplying by thier origin countries,, this tank can't even start 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂

@@surojeetchatterjee trials easily take 1-2 years bro.. and there is no API integrated on zorawar as of now. So a few tests of API, that would roughly take 1-2 years of trials. If the army changes any requirement there will be few delays. So optimistic timeline is 2027

Sir basically this tank is just assembly of different components of different countries. The original version with higher indigenous content is yet to come.

Can you tell me anything fully build by one country. Usa uses parts from different countries to make their own equipments. Have you heard about rafale delays in production due to supply chain delays. Well rafale is made by a French company which uses parts and material from other companies in other countries.

2027😮 Its developed in such a short time. Army shouldn't take more than a yr to do whatever testing they need to do. They just keep doing testing after testing for years together and in the end nothing happens the prime example is ATAGS

From USA - Cockerill 3105, High Pressure 105 mm gun and turret, + 42⁰ elevation. From USA - Cummins 750 hp engine. for a limited nos, it's economical to import. most likely will follow the K9 vajra SKD route.

Yes. After development trials they start never ending users trials. The tank is for Leh and laddakh but summer trial in rajsthan rainy trials in rainy season are waiting.

Tanks are of debatable utility in modern warfare. Bharat has never successfully used tanks since 1971, 53 year of uselessness. Drones are the weapon of choice. Tanks offer nothing, are obsolete and countries with tanks have been beaten badly by nations with Toyotas. TOYOTAS! A toyota technical is all the weapon anyone needs. kzfaq.info/get/bejne/map-ZZaI1tzFZKc.html I think aggressively junking T72/T90 is the way to go, aggressive induction of Arjun including unmanned variants and Zarowar should be only tanks Bharat fields. The army needs to rethink its obsession with obsolete weaponry. The Air Force too is obsessed with Mirage 2000s and Jaguars obsolete junk in the face of DRones. DRONES. DRONES. Just buy drones instead of obsolete junk. Drones are the weapon system everyone needs.

Beautiful Design... it may look weird due to side plates but for light tanks it is quite effective..do some research bro
