Today, I analyse Nick Sleep's investment in Costco Stock. Over the last 20 years, Costco (COST) has been a huge multibagger, and Nick Sleep was one of the wise investors, along with Charlie Munger who recognised that Costco was extremely high quality, led by a customer obsessed founder and had a long runway to grow. I apologise for the lack of interview footage.. unfortunately Nick Sleep hasn't recorded any interviews so the only way to hear from him directly is through his Nomad Shareholder Letters, and a chapter in Richer Wiser Happier by William Green. In this video, we take a trip back to 2004 to look at Nick Sleep's analysis for Costco Stock by reading through his letters, with the aim of discovering why he was able to recognise Costco as a quality compounder while everybody else was ignoring them. Hopefully, we can take some lessons to help us find our own 100 baggers in the future using some of Nick's principles. If you haven't yet, I highly recommend reading his letters! As always, this is just a past example for educational and entertainment purposes. This is NOT a buy/sell recommendation for Costco today.
