In this video, I go through Nick Sleep's (Nomad) Shareholder Letters to see what advice he shares for investing in a stock market crash. Nick Sleep experienced 2 enormous stock market crashes in his career (Dotcom & GFC) and still compounded the Nomad portfolio at over 20%/year. The interesting thing about Nick compared to others, is he had 2 different investing strategies in each crash. Although the investment styles are similar, they both had completely different results in recessions. One of Nick Sleep's biggest and most important decisions during the 2008 Stock Market Crash, was concentrating over 40% of the fund in Amazon after the stock fell during the carnage! Hopefully we can use some of this awesome advice and it can help our portfolios during the potential stock market crash of 2022!! Let me know if you have any other investors I can do a deep dive on.
