As travelling at the moment is not that easy, I thought it might be a nice idea to start a series called Breakfast Around the World. With food you can directly bring any kind of culture on your kitchen table - you can basically explore the world at home!
In this first episode I had a look at 5 different dishes from Europe: Norway, Spain, Greece, Scotland and Georgia.
Let me know which breakfast from around the world interests you the most as I love exploring things and immersing myself into different cultural cuisines. And to be honest, it was quite difficult to decide which ones to include in my first video! So I am definitely looking forwad to filming another one.

Rommegrot from Norway (recipe for 2):
- 250ml / 1 cup sour cream
- 65g / 1/2 cup flour
- 250ml / 1 cup milk
- 1tbsp sugar
- 1tsp cinnamon
Kagianas from Greece (recipe for 2)
- 250g shredded tomatoes
- 1/2 onion
- 2tbsp crema di balsamico
- 25g feta cheese
- 1tsp Mediterranean spice mix
- Bread for serving
Churros from Spain (recipe for 2-4)
- 150g / 1 cup flour
- 250ml / 1 cup water
- 55g / 1/4 cup butter
- 1 egg
- 1tsp vanilla extract
- vegetable oil for frying
- Cinnamon and sugar for coating
- Chocolate sauce for serving
Porridge from Scotland (recipe for 1)
- 50g / 1/2 cup oats
- 125ml / 1/2 cup water
- 125ml / 1/2 cup milk
- Your preferred topping
Khachapuri from Georgia (recipe for 4):
- 330g / 1 1/2 cup flour
- 220ml / a little less than 1 cup milk
- 1tsp sugar
- 1 tsp salt
- 20g fresh yeast / 1 sachet dry yeast
- 2tbsp olive oil
- 375g / 1 3/4 cup mozzarella
- 300g / 1 1/4 cup feta cheese
- 4 eggs + 1 egg for eggwash
