To be honest mark is always very reasonable. Being an arsenal fan I don't really follow other teams channel but mark is totally different very practical. People were saying that Arsenal were overpaying for rice and ye si agree but look he is British and I think he very consistent. Something like Ben white. I'm just hoping that Arteta could turn more goals in his games. Hope we could still go in for cancelo.

Next season is going to be so competitive. I feel like there are so many teams that are making moves this transfer window. Spurs and Chelsea are sleepers and could very well challenge for top of the table. And liverpool is going to be a behemoth especially not being in the champions league. it's going to be difficult for arsenal to focus on all fronts. Can't wait for the season to begin!

Well said Mark very unbiased. Those Arsenal fans moaning about West Ham are thick, this could be a positive and West Ham doing us a favour. In this day and age Arsenal may have requested that they not be mentioned in the announcement so all the focus should be on our side. In a digital media age clubs make a lot of money with the announcements and videos and things clubs do when signing a player. I respect West Ham they drove the price we paid up as high as possible and made us work to get the deal done. I wish Arsenal sold as well as this and stuck to their guns on valuations. Well done West Ham and well done Arsenal, this is a great deal for all parties.

Buying players to put not in their normal position is the biggest mistake united have made with many players especially at full back the last decade. Timber is not a RB and they seem to be replacing white who is prem proven and a years plus experience as a RB when he is a CB and now they are gonna put timber there. If they do that it’s a big risk

Probably arsenal have agreed to pay him the salary Rice wants which is more than £300k per week. This salary thing has been the reason for the confirmation. Looking like another Sancho deal. Sad to say, arsenal may face team disharmony if Rice's salary is according to what is predicted here. In that case, will be difficult to see arsenal finish in the top 4.

Rice to Arsenal will still be a defensive mid fielder. As for he stayed at West Ham 2 seasons longer than he should. Then the fee would have possibly been £50m less than what they have got. I see Arsenal this season still possibly holding onto a top 4 place. They won't have have enough to chase down City & compete in champs league as well.
