How do they express grief? Or do they not show emotion?

Their grief is often private...they believe very strongly in the will of God. I actually met a woman who had just lost her brother in a lawn mower accident. As I was trying to reach out with sorrow to her about the incident. She said this to me: :It was his time. It is God's will. He is where he belongs." That was several years ago and has since resonated with me. I'm sure they feel loss as we do. It is just not expressed outwardly. I wouldn't go as far to say they have no emotion. After all, God gave us our emotions for a reason.

Why no horses or wagons allowed in the English cemetery? That seems odd. Why would it matter?

No decorations at the funerals nor decorative graves.. nor shall there be any flowers placed upon the graves 👏 🙏 🤲 🐎 🐎 🐴
