There's a lot of subtle stuff in BB, and it's always fun seeing people experience it for the first time, keep up the good work!

You are probably right with every episode getting better, wait until you get to Season 2 it goes like a rollercoaster after you will be introduced to one of the greatest characters in tv history. This episode is bit like when Ronald Wayne selling his share in Apple back in 1976. Great foreshadowing here for the future. Great to see you enjoying the show as much as the Buffyverse shows. Like them it just gets better and better. Great to see and hear the Erlenmeyer Flask mentioned, an obvious reference to one of the greatest X-Files episodes ever.

Skyler is trying to help but acting too desperate the way she is it's like she doesn't care about how it looks or feels to him she just wants the money no matter what to pay for his treatment and i get that but it's not the way to go about it and on the other hand if walt would just accept it then he would not have to be cooking meth and not get into the crap that he goes through you will see what i mean when you keep watching the craziness that happens you will not be prepared for lol you will think back to this day and say "crap Skyler was right he should have just taken their money" lol

I feel like you might be falling into a "irrational character hatred" trap and these traps end up blinding you to the bigger picture of the storyline. You need to keep an open mind and consider you might be wrong. Humility is a far better trait than blind confidence. We all disliked Skylar at this point of the story but you have to remember, she if VERY pregnant, she's suddenly dealing with the shocking news that her husband is about to die a painful death and leave her with a disabled son and a newborn baby. They've made it very clear that the Whites are not financially stable. There are "reactors" who end up virtue signalling so hard that they miss the bigger picture and I'm afraid that I'm starting to see you guys going down that path and the show just started.
