Nice transactions in the last 24 hours! Myers at 3x3 and re-signing Joshua and Blueger give the team stability. Trading Mikhayev to clear cap space is huge. Hopefully big Z will return with a reasonable contract and decent production.

To keep Zadorov they will need to compromise on that 2nd like winger spot and not sign Geuntzel. Which I think would be better for the overall depth of the team.

I've really loved Alvin and Rutherfords signings but signing Myers a 3rd pairing defenseman and at 3m with holes in his game was a waste of good money they need for Zadorov, Guentzel or even Tanev who would've made the Canucks a way better than Myers. Juulsen is a 3rd pairing defender and cheap and there's absolutely no way Myers is a top 4 defender. This better not block a Zadorov signing I'll be absolutely pissed.

The problem with not signing him is it leaves a big hole on the right side which will need to be filled through free agency and probably cost more than $3 million.

I dont care what anyone says. Signing Myers again is a great idea! He makes our D look strong as hell for a steal of a deal and absolutely loves Van, he deserves to retire with us for sure!

Myers is a 3rd pairing defender at best they should've used this 3m towards Tanev who's 5 times better than Myers. They should've used that 3m on Tanev or Zadorov Guentzel... andbif they don't sign Zadorov I'll be absolutely pissed
