Good reaction.🤘This is a great collaboration (it is a straight 50/50 split even though it is more of an Electric Callboy style song) by two great bands. You will have real fun discovering both of them. BABYMETAL are like nothing you will have seen or heard before. They pioneered their very own new sub-genre and they don't do things the same way as anybody else. They started as a fusion of Metal with J-Pop hooks, melodies and aesthetics ... including introducing choreographed dance to Metal, but not dance as you may know it from other acts who use dance to fill the stage or to give you something to watch to take your mind of bland music. BABYMETAL's choreo serves two very real purposes - it is bespoke for every song relating to and helping to interpret the meaning of the song or a lyric (very handy for those of us who don't speak Japanese). More importantly it is designed to involve and include the crowd. It lets the crowd know when to jump, pump their fists, chant, shout, sing along or whatever else There is nobody with better crowd control than BABYMETAL and it is one of the reasons they are right up among (or above) the very best live acts on the planet right now. On top of that is lead vocalist Su-metal's versatility and stage presence. The whole concept was formed around her and her powerful vocals and her ability to convey every sort of emotion. They have about 70 songs now, each one different to the last. Some are good hard metal (virtually every sub-genre of metal - they refuse to be pigeonholed or stuck in an imaginary box doing the same sort of thing over and over like most bands), some lean towards their J-Pop roots and they do everything in between, but they will also mix and blend so many more musical styles and genres with the metal.

Nice reaction. Welcome to the foxhole. Babymetal and from what I've been told both started around 2010. Make you think Hmm. How did it take this long for this to happen. Well one of them is from Germany and the other is from Japan. not exactly neighbors. But apparently Babymetal went to see Electric Callboy perform and that got the ball rolling on this. Next for another surprise by Babymetal check them out with their own band. Known as the Kamiband. Watch "Yava" with intro. And then BMC so you can see just how diverse Babymetal is. The foxhole is deep and full of surprises.

So, if you want to take a look at what EC have done so far, you will have to catch up to 14 years of band history. If you want a short synopsis of their career, here are some of the bullet points (centering more around the bands background): [‼Attention: Wall of text/Info dump ahead‼] 💖The band was founded in 2010 as Eskimo Callboy by six guys from Castrop-Rauxel a former coal mining city in the eastern part of the Ruhr Area within the state of North Rhine-Westphalia in Germany 💙Name change in 2022 to Electric Callboy - they explain the reasons in two videos on their KZfaq page. 💛In 2020 their singer Sebastian 'Sushi' Biesler left the band to found his new project 'Ghostkid' and was replaced by Nico Sallach a longtime friend of the band whose own Band (To The Rats And Wolfs) was newly disbanded at the time. 💜The introduction single for Nico 'Hypa Hypa' was also the international breakthrough for the band. Since then they had headline tours in Europe, USA (sold out) and Australia (sold out). Electric Callboy in its current manifestation is an absolute LIVE-Band! Here some info about Electric Callboy: They are a German Metalcore band formed in 2010 under the name "Eskimo Callboy" who take themselves not too serious and tend to create hilarious videos for their songs. After they learned that the word "Eskimo" can be seen as a derogatory name for Inuit and Yupik people of the Arctic they changed their name by replacing "Eskimo" with "Electric". The videos are almost all produced by the Schillo brothers (Pascal Schillo (Guitarist of the band) and his brother Oliver Schillo who own a video production company). Most of their songs are about partying and having a good time, but they have some more serious stuff in their catalogue also. They blend Metalcore with EDM, Techno, Pop and sometimes even Rap music which lead to their very unique style that is called "Partycore". There are two main vocalists in the band: Nico Sallach (clean vocals) and Kevin Ratajczak (harsh vocals) but both can do both vocal styles and back each other up if needed. Nico is a bit better with the cleans and Kevins harsh vocals are a bit better than Nicos. If you'd like to check them out I would recommend "Hypa Hypa" ,"We got the Moves", "Pump it", "Spaceman" or "Tekkno Train". For the more serious songs it would be "Hate/Love", "Parasite" or "Mindreader" .

Appreciate the reaction but it is pretty offensive to Asian people to label everything K-pop.

Kpop stands for Korean pop and all those bands are Japanese and have zero to do with Kpop just seeing Asians making music and putting them all under Kpop is just ignorant.
