Fantastic Four cast mcu film cast already cast by Marvel Studios | Fantastic Four casting update breakdown. New Fantastic Four leak tells us that part of the Fantastic Four team, Reed Richards and Sue Storm, have already been cast for the Marvel Cinematic Universe. This Fantastic Four update comes as Marvel has hired a new writer for the new MCU movie and is trying to focus over quality over quantity with the rest of the upcoming Marvel phase 5 and phase 6 movies and shows.

The new MCU Fantastic Four movie will not be a true origin story, this is confirmed by Marvel Studios president Kevin Feige. With it not being an origin story, some insiders have claimed that a part of the new Fantastic Four films plot will be Reed Richards and Sue Storm already being parents. In Marvel Comics they have 2 children, Franklin and Valeria, with Franklin going on to become on of the most powerful X-men / mutants of all Marvel History.
It looks as we already have our Reed Richards aka Mr Fantastic and Sue Storm aka The Invisible Woman, as a new report states they have been cast and have actually been cast for awhile. For a long time fans have remained hopeful that John Krasinski would continue to play Reed Richards after his Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness cameo but that does not seem likely anymore. Emily Blunt has also been the fan choice to play Sue Storm but now it looks like Jodie Comer could be the front runner, even though, she denies having heard anything from Marvel studios about the Fantastic Four role.

Marvel hasn't disappointed me yet. They told us what to expect. New stuff, new styles, new characters...I mean, there was a pretty loose phase 1 before a tight phase 3, so I'm good.

I really hope that they don’t confuse “serious” tones for somber tones as well. Incredibles 2 balanced the tonality very well and I just hope the movie ends up something similar to that.

I imagine they'll officially announce all 4 at the same time. Instead of doing here's who's playing Sue Strom and Reid Richards then like a week or 5 later announce who plays Johnny and Grimm. If there's comedy it has to be mainly from Grimm and Johnny and the friendly rivalry. With the Reed and Sue stuff I can see Reed and Sue meeting along with the marriage either opening the film or shown via flashbacks within the first 1/4 of the film

Agree, flashbacks are the way to handle the origins of the team the average viewer is not aware of the origins of the team or even worst the underrated rogue gallery of the team, i hope feige uses the space supernova origin

A couple things I would like to mention. I love how you included a picture of the 1994 never released Fantastic Four Movie. I own every superhero movie that’s been officially released and this is my Holy Grail. I know it’s terrible but my collection will always be incomplete until I get my hands on it. The story about it was they had to make a movie by a certain date or the studio would lose the rights for it. So they made the movie with the intention it wouldn’t be released. The actors didn’t know but the studio did. Anyways it shows you truly are a fan by including it in your content lol. Thanks for that. I agree with Marvel steering away from an origins story. The fans already know it. The not so die hard fans still do because of the 2 other released origin movies. They could put something new in but we basically already know. It gives everyone the opportunity of not having to watch yet another origins movie. Which by nature have to be a little slower to establish itself. More detail story telling with not as much action to set up the Franchise. So to be able to get right into it is awesome. It essentially eliminates about 2 years of production and a movie release to get to the movie we really want. So a high five to Marvel for doing this. We have waited long enough already lol. Great video and we appreciate the effort you put into bringing us your content. Can’t wait for more news on the Fantastic Four.

She was the only one who didn't fit in the team I've always thought. She was too young, her CLEARLY fake contacts and bleached hair/wig contrasted against her exotic features and skin color. It was cringe watching a clearly mixed or hispanic girl being portrayed as a Caucasian. Her acting was wooden at best. The rest were 👍 good

I have high hopes for the movie,even feige is aware of the importance of doing right the movie, as feige said on a interview he always had plans for what he wants to do with the out of reach characters at thr time, that's why i'm convinced the work on the first plot treatment started sometime before far from home when jon watts was still onboard, then as the writers of the film revealed they're been working for a long time on the script. This is a proof of how important is to make the film great

I’m so thrilled for this movie. I honestly don’t really mind hearing that marvel decided on getting a new script writer because that just means they want this movie to be done right. It needs to be a compelling story that has some deep moments along with some humour that doesn’t negatively impact the tone of the movie. Can’t wait to see this movie!!!

Everything in this video is absolutely wonderful to hear about. From how the movie will be changing because of the fans, even though the big parts will still be in it, to the surprise that Reed Richards/Mr. Fantastic and Sue Storm/the Invisible Woman could've already been casted for a while as well as their roles and parts of the movie, to what this could mean for the future of the MCU. Hopefully, all will come around for us to feel better for the MCU again.🙂 Personally, even though I like the changes that are currently being work by Marvel to make the MCU like it was before, I don't see the whole problem - I really loved phase 4 and Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania. Also for this topic, I absolutely hope Ross Lynch gets cast for Johnny Storm/the Human Torch like what was theorized in one other video because my sister and I loved him back then and that would definitely be a real surprise.

Is this a cast list you just made up or is this the cast list all the rumors are pointing towards? Either way I really, really dig this lineup. Multiple F4 movies have made the mistake of casting the best looking actor/actress and seemingly given it no more thought. This F4 is shaping up to basically be the saviour of the entire MCU so they need a strong cast. Between movies and streaming series the MCU has been consistently releasing absolute garbage for a few years now and I think this slow down, catch our breath and regroup approach is the smartest decision. Take a year or so off, use your best assets on 1 movie and 1 series and just concentrate on them and in a year or 2 release the Fantastic Four movie and Daredevil: Born Again as a series and hopefully the MCU can regain it's swagger and right this ship.

I'm still confident that the Dr strange quote of "didn't you guys chart in the 60's" wasn't a (that sounds like a band name) throwaway joke, I believe he had heard of them from his universe, and the Reed family existed during the hankpym antman era of mcu history. This is very easily explained by them disappearing in their accident and being gone for a long time(much like Scott's 5 year absence) maybe 20/30 years or more though. If they already have children, then that makes the refusing the call to heroism issue, as to why they didnt become heroes after coming back. Unless Sue was pregnant when the accident happened, maybe they didn't know yet. Maybe they led comfortable lives with shield until the organization fell. Idk, but I really do hope we can skip the origin story this time, just like spiderman, they have so many more stories to tell.

my guess is that F4 end up taking on the one shot from sentry, meaning that during the thunderbolts, if the rumors are true that the sentry is part of that story, they could use his/the voids/the f4s role in the multiverse to explain why noone remembers them. during the events of thunderbolts, maybe the sentry, or the thunderbolts themselves end up disabling the worlds ability to forget the f4, or at least roberts, and that might end up being the end credit scene, or something similar. oh and its valAIRia, not valerie-a :P

Franklin Richards isn’t a mutant, they cleared that up back in FF/X-Men when Hickmans X-men comics started. He chose to change his genetics with his powers to have an x gene but, he used his powers to be one not born a mutant.

You mention that you don’t know who else is in the running for the other three roles but in the John Campea clip, he has John Krasinski and Jodie Comer in the hashtags. Additionally, purported scoopers such as Divinity Seeker have stated that John Krasinski is, in fact, the MCU’s Reed Richards. Thoughts?

Some years ago, I read that Peyton Reed wanted to make a Fantastic 4 movie set in the 1960s (the time of the earliest Fantastic 4 comics). At the end of the movie, the 4 would travel to the present day after going to the negative zone or some kind of time warp. They might do something like that where the team (including any kids) travels from the past to the MCU's present day in someone else's movie. That way they could be introduced in a movie like Captain America 4 or Armor Wars before starring in their own film. Alternatively, they could wait to debut until Kang Dynasty or even Secret Wars. Of course, the coolest place for them to debut might be House of Harkness so that Agatha can become the Richard's family nanny. My first choice to play Reed and Sue would be John Krasinski and Emily Blunt. I am really not sure who should play Johnny or Ben. I think Michael Chiklis was perfectly cast as Ben Grimm in the original movie and I wouldn't mind him returning to the role. In fact, it might be cool if Michael B. Jordan then returned as Sue's adopted brother Johnny. But that might not work. We know that Chris Evans will almost certainly be returning as Johnny in Secret Wars. So Chiklis, Ioan Gruffudd, and Jessica Alba will most likely return with him. It shouldn't be a problem that a multiverse Johnny looks just like the main MCU universe Steve Rogers because they come from different universes. (Please forgive the RAS Syndrome, but I think it's clearer). The CW's Crisis on Infinite Earth's handled Brandon Routh playing both Ray Palmer and a Superman from another universe quite well. It could be a source of humor. But since Jordan has already played Killmonger in the main MCU universe and we might see him return as that character in Secret Wars, having him play main MCU universe Johnny and main MCU universe Killmonger as well as multiverse Johnny might be one Michael B. Jordan too many. So I think the most likely casting for the MCU Fantastic 4 will involve no actors who have played the characters before, other than (hopefully) John Krasinski.

"Quality over quantity" is the quick and easy explanation for why things aren't progressing as smoothly as the creative powers that be project that fans would like to see content appear. The problems could be any one of a number; the "quality over quantity" just makes for easy justification.

Marvel really needs to treat the Fantastic 4 differently. They haven’t had the prettiest movies, so they have a lot to prove with this one. I hope they take it seriously.
