Ranting about 7 fashion rules that I think are silly....
Fashion is meant to be fun, it's not that serious and I'm gonna prove to you that there's truly no such thing as rules when it comes to style!
Guys I need a new laptop so bad, crashed on me like 50 times so idek how I managed to finish editing this - sorry the quality is super fuzzy not sure what happened there either lolll

I totally agree! Also some people don’t understand the concept that style can be personal! Like for example, just because you would never wear it doesn’t mean it’s bad, just means we have different senses of style and that’s why I’m the one whose wearing it ahha besides the girls who get it get it 💕So thankyou for getting it 💕

so true how you said you never thought anything about your shoulders until you found out about your body type. i feel the same. my body was just my body and then i heard about all that body type crap and it’s like oh don’t wear that if you have this blah blah blah and it really does limit you so much. i’ve been working on letting go of all that. dressing up is fun and we should wear something if we want to. love your entire video so much 🩷🩷

I just found you and want more than 2 videos! I'm so excited for you! I wanted to share a couple of thought I have on trends. I have my own style preferences and they change and evolve but I def have a personal vibe. I only look to trends to see if anything vibes with my own preferences. When something does - Bows, velvet, platforms, deconstruction. etc. - I know those things will be more widely available for a period of time for me to snap up. I buy well made stuff for the long haul and thrift a bunch. Trends are there for me to take advantage of not to be tricked into giving the industry more money so I can look like a clone. That's why I think it's so important to get an idea of what you love for yourself. Find what makes you feel good when you wear it so you are in charge of where your money goes.

Your style is very creative and interesting, I personally stay away from the skirt/dress over pants, did it twice, and it's definitely not my thing, but I definitely don't mind admiring from a far 🙂 but I'm totally on board enhancing my rectangle body type by wearing loose rectangle dresses from time to time, there's no shame in my game 😂

I LOVE pattern clashing! The Duke of Windsor while having an otherwise dubious personality was a master of mixing different size plaids withe Argyle socks and patterned ties, and was widely admired for his fashion sense so stuff the ultra conformity brigade.

Hi ! I just discover your channel. I like this video ! In France there is a fashion show called "Les reines du shopping" (= Queen of shopping), and they say a lot of silly fashion rules in it. It is very popular and when I was younger I tried to follow it. For instance, they say you could not wear more than 3 accessories together, or you can't wear leggings. I think it had a really bad influence on a lot of us in France ! PS : sorry for my english

My problem is wearing layers, I get too hot in them inside even if it is cold outside it’s so hot inside. How do I have style without layering?

My advice would to be instead of layering, find clothes that shout your style through shape, color, and patterns rather rhan through layering. For example, you can find and make shirts with cool patterns and designs that will make you look awesome but won't make you over heat (this is also better because these shirts have a higher chance of being cotton which is great for warm weather). If you like more simple stuff you can find shirts or pants that look cool through shape like skinny jeans, bell bottoms, poofy sleeves, ect. If you like scarves you can get thin skinny scarves. If you like shoes you can find breathable ones like stylish sandals, converse shoes, open foot heels, ect. You can also determine your favorite color and what colors you like to wear. This will help when trying to find things you want to wear. Personally I love to wear muted greens, bright red, pinks, purple, black, and white. Finding those colors that you love will help creating your style. I hope you find luck in creating your style! :)

Yes! i think @FallisLife made some great points and layering isn’t the only way to style clothes in a cool way that speaks to your own personality and style! explore trying out clothing items that have some unique detail or that may just speak to you. there’s also nothing wrong at all with having a more minimal style- not everyone needs to be maximalist if that doesn’t resonate with u (u can always use the cut, silhouette or accessories to enhance your looks!) 🥰

The trouble, my darling,is that later on in life, your figure declines, and so a bit of camouflage according to the rules becomes helpful😂. When you are young with a trim little figure is the time to experiment and have fun with fashion. So go wild, girl. Break all the rules and enjoy!😊
