Thanks for your comment! Really appreciate it. Unfortunately I can't give you straight up advice and to be honest, I have no idea what's going to happen price -wise. But here are a few thoughts: These news are big. Crazy big. So I would assume the price to react to that strongly (it already has jumped a lot). However some people won't be happy about how the token merger will happen with the fixed exchange rates (Which is understandable but also, these rates are the best way to do it from my current point of view). So I would expect at least some people to sell of their tokens as these news break more and more in the following days. Will the price react to that? I don't know. But what I can tell you is that dollar cost averaging has proven to be a good strategy to mitigate price fluctuations and protect yourself from buying tops if you are planning to hold for the long term

So if someone holds all 3 tokens on an exchange, do they all get combined into a single wallet to the equivalent $ value as at the time of the merge? Also if AGIX and ocean are getting exchanged for only half the value as a FET token, why hold AGIX or OCEAN? Why not just sell them both asap and put the $ into FET since it merges at full value? 🤔

Yes, the exchanges will migrate the tokens for you. And the exchange rate is 0.433 roughly and dependent on the current price of FET the monetary value could be a bit less or a bit more at the time when you migrate the tokens. So depending on you, you might want to buy and hold FET if you believe the price of FET wins against the prices of AGIX/Ocean

Also what about tax issues? Wouldn’t AGIX or OCEAN changing chains make it equivalent to a selling event? While FET is the same chain but with a different name so probably no chance of being a taxable event?

I'm not entirely sure what you are referring to when you say "participate". In the vote if the merger will happen? Yes for that you need to be token holder. To use potential future products? No, once they are out you'll be able to use everything that's not paid just like that. Hope that answers your question, if not please clarify it for me 😄

Was genau meinst du mit Haltefrist? Für die Steuern? Ich würde sagen ja aber ich kann's dir nicht genau sagen. Hast du es locked für Data Farming? Hier bleibt der lockup gleich und du kannst danach mergen allerdings bekommst du den kompletten airdrop schon in den nächsten paar Wochen vollständig

Im meine die 1 jährige Haltefrist. Halte nun 6 Monate, beim Merge fallen dann steuern auf die gewinne an wenn es wie ein swap ist. Und evtl ist das Bullruntop schon in 7 Monaten.

@@michakiew5346 Die hardfork gilt aber nur für FET Tokens. Ocean und AGIX tokens werden geswapped in ein anderes Token auf einer anderen Chain. Ums kurz zu sagen: Ich weiß es nicht. Ich bin kein Steueranwalt und habe bis jetzt noch keine klare Antwort hierzu gefunden

Fetch tokens will automatically be converted/renamed to ASI, AGIX tokens need to be converted via the merger contract as soon as it's live. Be sure to only click links that are posted via the official channels (X accounts) and double, triple and quadruple check when you convert to not get scammed. I will also post the official links in my video description and on my community wall once it's life. Probably will be another 3-4 weeks

im not hating but I don't see why would be a big next play. 1, asi will have a market cap of 7billion. 2, more token supply unlocks. 3, they are not really merging they are more like partnering. 4, fetch (asi) did almost a 14x from bear market lows, any big investor when looking at that would not want to buy fetch due to the last 3 points. what are your thoughts?

I mean maybe at one point if Hyperon gets released and is great. If that's the case it could get wild. But let's have a brief look at the value of OpenAI and we see it's around 86 billion. And ChatGPT is the most used and most popular AI. I can see ASI overtaking this eventually if Hyperon is better and and more useful for the general public. Of course you can't really compare tha and crypto is a lot of hype and speculation but let's not get ahead of ourselves before they have released anything haha. But yeah I could see it

@@WieseTechnology They might be in contact with 6 large exchanges but my largest portfolio is on Coinbase. I have lost my money on that platform in several assets that merged, were taken off coinbase or simply changed tickers. Was I confident that the same thing would happen to one of my largest investments? No. So I cashed out 80% at 3 and will wait for the merger to happen. If ASI is listed on Coinbase or any other exchange I invest in, I will buy it there.

That is why SingularityNET CEO Ben Goertzel also mentioned that on the future they will probably launch it on ICP... Because ICP is the only blockchain with the right technology.

@@WieseTechnology Technical analysis....The charts are all currently bearish....I hope you don't buy just from reading prs before analyzing the stochastic rsi, Fibonacci, moving avg and Elliot waves..I sold Ocean at 1.51 and I still have fet thanks to a lower avg...I like other coins a lot more...They have better charts for 10x explosion

What we all need to know is: if I hold 200 fet tokens that I bought at $3.00 and the Asi token is fixed at $2.88 the at the swap, I am losing $0.12 per coin if the swap as a 1:1 or are they going to swap for the value that I hold and not the tokens that I hold so my value would be $600 and that is 208.3333 asi tokens

basically if I own $10,000 worth of FET at $3.00 per coin thats 3,333 FET tokens and they change them to ASI coins on a 1:1 basis then if those ASI tokens are fixed for the swap at $2.88 then that investment will then be worth $9,600 having a $400 loss instantly. And if FET is worth $3.40 , my investments value would be $11,333 so that would be a $1,733 loss.

The ASI tokens are not fixed at 2.88. they are pegged to whatever the current price of FET is. If FET is worth $300, ASI will be worth $300.
